R oyal Monsters is a bully academy reverse harem romance. As a bully romance, the guys are sometimes assholes to the heroine, but theyre always redeemable. This is also a reverse harem, meaning the heroine will have more than one sexy guy interested in her, and she wont have to choose between her studs at the end of the book.
A n episode for books is like an episode on television. Many things will get resolved each episode, but not the entire plot. These stories will be shorter, and typically end on a cliffhanger, but the next episode will come soon after, so you wont be left hanging for too long.
So, in other words, if youre looking for something hot and exciting to read, but dont want to get caught up reading for hours, you might enjoy these episodes!

Grabbing my heavy bag full of books, I race down the stairs through our Null Hall. The dreary building is quiet, which tells me I must already be running late. On my first day!
Not good, not good at all!
Id thought getting up early meant getting to class early, but then, Id had a weird morning. First, Id had an unexpected moment when Id put on my uniform and spotted myself in the mirror. Suddenly, Id pictured the men in my house, the ones who took my brother, wearing this very uniform.
My legs had started shaking. My head felt dizzy. And Id had to sit down, close my eyes, and take deep breaths until the moment passed. Then, because it was still too early to go to class, and I was feeling panicked, Id started reading my school books.
And got distracted.
So now, there was no time for breakfast, and no time to slow down. Not if I didnt want to screw up again and be late.
When I get outside, many of the Nulls glance at me, but then quickly away. Some of them stop talking. Some of them simply gather more closely in their protective circles, like Im a lion, and theyre antelope who fear me.
Subtle. Real subtle.
I mean, I get it. If the last couple of days have taught me anything, its that the little incident in the dining hall with the alphas was a big mistake.
Id thought I was defending myself.
Apparently, I was making myself the school leper.
None of the Nulls wanted anything to do with me. And none of the other students wanted anything to do with Nulls, so I was pretty much alone.
Except for Liam.
Thank goodness for him!
Hed walked out of the lunch room and told me he was pretty sure I was going to get myself killed, but he was going to do anything he could to keep me alive. Then, hed smiled and told me I reminded him of someone. Id almost told him he reminded me of my brother, but the words had caught in my throat.
Hed even managed to add one more class to my schedule so that we could start our day together. And because yesterday hed realized just how little I knew about magical creatures, then insisted I needed this class more than he did.
So now, I wouldnt be starting my first day of school alone! Which was something I was unbelievably grateful for.
I see him waiting for me on the stairs and a smile immediately tugs at my lips. His head is buried in a book, but Ive come to realize that he loves reading and books more than any person Ive seen before. Im hoping that means he might be able to help me a little with my classes. Because just scanning the books has made me realize I dont even know the basics of this world.
Bounding down the steps, I jump down the last one to land beside him. Sorry Im late! Ready to go?
Liam startles, looking up from his book. Oh, good, you made it. I was hoping I wouldnt have to leave without you. How you feeling?
I grin and sit beside him on the steps. Im ready, but Id be lying if I didnt say I was nervous.
He closes his book, and his scrutinizing gaze lands on me. And here I thought nothing made you nervous.
Just morning people... and starting a new school with a bunch of people who avoid me like the plague.
He grins. Does being late make you nervous? Because Magical Animals is outside the school walls, so if we dont hurry
I jump back to my feet and grab my bag, slinging it over my shoulder. Why didnt you say so? Lets go!
He laughs. I think tomorrow you might want to go easy on the coffee.
If only that was only this is...
Gently sliding his book into his backpack, he zips it up and puts it on. Then, we head through campus. Along the way, one student after another stares at us.
My excitement starts to fade. Ive been hoping keeping my head down and being good from now on will help everyone forget what happened between me and the alphas. But Im starting to think it wont be as easy as I thought.
Not that I regret putting that jerk in his place, because I dont. I just wish it hadnt happened in the first place.
Everyone seems to be staring at us, I watch Liam out of the corner of my eye. Im kind of hoping its because you did something crazy last night...
Liam smirks and runs a hand through his shaggy brown hair. It could be because of my long night at the library, but it could also be because youre new. Or because youre pretty. Or because you challenged the most powerful students on campus. Or maybe because rumor has it you survived a night with Spencer.
I let out a low whistle. Thats a lot of choices.
He laughs. Yeah, you better just hope someone else does something dumber than you soon, or youll be all anyone is talking about for the rest of the year.
I hold back a groan. Heres to hoping something terrible happens to someone else. Now, whats this class like?
