Mon Ami von der Oelmhl, an Irish wolfhound, was named the longest dog in the world in 2006, stretching over 7.5 feet from nose to tail.
The longest dog ever was Aicama Zorba of La-Susa from the UK. The Old English mastiff was 8 feet, 3 inches long, and he was also the heaviest dog ever at 343 pounds.
The most recent longest dog was Farrell, a male Irish wolfhound, who measured 7 feet, 9.17 inches from nose to tail tip. Owned by Robert and Kate Fandetti of Baneberry, Tennessee, he sadly passed away in February 2014. The search is currently ongoing to find his replacement.
Heaven Sent Brandy is the shortest dog in length. She is only 6 inches from her nose to the tip of her tail. It would take 15 Heaven Sent Brandys to reach the length of Mon Ami. But, of course, she is one of a kind!

Cupcake is the smallest service dog in the world! She lives in New Jersey and is only 6.25 inches tall. But she has a big impact. She visits sick and injured people in hospitals and nursing homes, bringing them hope and cheer.
The smallest police dog is Midge. She is a Chihuahuarat terrier mix who works as a police dog in Ohio, even though she is only 11 inches tall.
Bebe is the smallest dog model. At only 6.7 inches tall, this long-haired Chihuahua knows how to strut her stuff.

The biggest ears on a living dog belong to Harbor, a coonhound who lives in Colorado. Each ear is over a foot long12.25 inches on the left and 13.5 inches on the right.
A bloodhound named Tigger had the longest ears on a dog ever. His left ear was 13.5 inches, but his right ear was even longer13.75 inches! He used to trip over his ears as a pup.
Puggy is a Pekingese who lives in Texas, and he has the longest tongue on a living dog. His tongue measures 4.5 inches from his snout to the tip.
The longest dog tongue ever belonged to Brandy, a boxer who lived in Michigan. Her tongue was 17 inches long!
The longest eyelash on a dog belongs to Ranmaru, an Australian labradoodle from Japan. It was measured in September 2014 at 6.69 inches long.
