Jesus, King of Edessa: Jesus was a king of Edessa and Judaea: summary, description and annotation

We offer to read an annotation, description, summary or preface (depends on what the author of the book "Jesus, King of Edessa: Jesus was a king of Edessa and Judaea" wrote himself). If you haven't found the necessary information about the book — write in the comments, we will try to find it.

This is the book that the Catholic Church has been dreading for the last 1700 years. This is the book that will rock the foundations of Christianity as we know it - for the biblical Jesus has at last been found in the historical record.

We now know who Jesus was, where he lived, and who his family were. Visit his city, see the ruins of his citadel, gaze upon his statue, handle his coins. In reality, Jesus was a son of King Abgarus V of Edessa, a princeling with a small realm, a large treasury, and even bigger ambitions. But the wise prince of northern Syria came up against an intractable Rome and his many plans for revolution crumbled to dust. As readers might imagine, the true history of this region undermines much of the biblical fairy-story that the gospel authors crafted, and so Christianity will never be the same again.

The jacket image shows Jesus wearing his Crown of Thorns, the ceremonial crown of the Edessan monarchy. Jesus was crucified wearing this same crown, because he was a king of Edessa. In fact, Jesus was crucified in the Kidron Valley along with two other leaders of the revolt, but was taken down early and survived, just as the history of Josephus Flavius relates.

This is a scholarly study of all the available historical evidence, including the Tanakh, Talmud, Josephus Flavius, the Roman historians, and venerable Syriac historians like Moses of Chorene and Yohannes Drasxanakertci.

This latest edition also contains many rebuttals to the criticisms of this book that have been made by academia. Scholars confidently thought they could defeat these bold claims and arguments in a trice, but then discovered that they actually knew very little about these events and their many criticisms were shown to be baseless. In fact, most of these so-called scholars then deleted their comments on the internet, to conceal the ignorance that they had displayed.

This is the final book in the King Jesus Trilogy, and so we suggest that readers start at the beginning of this fascinating series. The wait before arriving at the last episode in the trilogy will be worthwhile, for if a book could be valued on its eureka moments then this final book would be priceless.

Cover image:

King Jesus wearing his ceremonial plaited Crown of Thorns, just as the New Testament describes. A superb painting of Jesus by Ian von Stietencron. This image is based upon original coin evidence, an original contemporary statue of Jesus discovered at Palmyra, and a scene from Herbert Schmalzs evocative painting, Queen Zenobias Last Look Upon Palmyra.

The evidence presented in this book suggests that Jesus would have looked exactly like this coin and statue, while the clothing depicted here is also true to the original armour, regalia and crown worn by Jesus.

Two coins of King Abgar-Phraates XI of Edessa a direct descendant of King - photo 1

Two coins of King Abgar-Phraates XI of Edessa, a direct descendant of King Jesus, wearing exactly the same plaited ceremonial Crown of Thorns as Jesus himself would have worn. An almost identical 1st century coin of a King Manu of Edessa is shown in fig 10.3, but it is not so well minted and more difficult to discern. This 1st century coin is likely to be of the biblical Jesus.

Acknowledgments

My thanks go to Ian von Stietencron for the jacket illustration of Jesus - a bold and evocative image that provokes a multitude of passions in those who view it. Thanks must also go to David Hatcher-Childress, for his continued support in publication and distribution. And to Stan Vaughan, Anthony Fox, Michael Tsarion, Henrik Palmgren, Russell Scott, Andrew Gough, and Mark Foster and many others, for their support and constructive criticism of this project. Such a complex theory needs independent reviewers to challenge the claims and hone the arguments, and h appily the main thesis of this book remains secure - Jesus was a king of Edessa.

The King Jesus Trilogy

by Ralph Ellis

Cleopatra to Christ

The New Testament says that the infant Jesus was visited by the Magi of Persia-Parthia, and that he was educated in Egypt. Jesus also appears to have been of royal blood, and crowned as the King of the Jews. The implication is that Jesus was of both Egyptian and Persian royal blood, but that his family were exiled to Judaea in about AD 4. This may appear to be an impossible family history to discover in the historical record, but there was a royal family from the early first century AD that fits all of these diverse requirements - the influential but largely forgotten Queen Thea Muse Ourania, an exiled Egypto-Persian queen.

the sequel to Cleopatra

King Jesus

This ground-breaking book firstly revisits the suggestion that Saul (St Paul) was Josephus Flavius, and proves this connection beyond doubt. It then discovers that (King) Jesus was mentioned in the works of Josephus, where he is called King Izas of Adiabene, a descendant of Queen Thea Muse Ourania. King Jesus-Izas and Queen Mary Magdalene were not only campaigning for the throne of Judaea, but also for the Imperial throne of Rome. This was a threat that the Romans could not ignore and so King Jesus was confronted, defeated, crucified, reprieved, and exiled to Chester in England.

All research is from original sources, including the Tanakh, Talmud, Josephus, Origen, Eusebius, Irenaeus, Herodian, Suetonius, Tacitus, Clement and many others besides. The conclusions in this book may be astounding, but the research is meticulous and the evidence consistent.

the sequel to King Jesus

Jesus, King of Edessa

The archaeological evidence in Mesopotamia for Josephus Flavius King Jesus-Izas is lacking. However, the ancient Syriac chroniclers say that King Izas (Jesus) was actually the king of Edessa in northern Syria, another influential monarchy that has been largely deleted from the ancient chronicles. And this revised identification and location for this royal family fits the gospel stories like a glove. Now we really do know who the biblical Jesus was. Visit his city, see the ruins of his citadel, gaze upon his statue, handle his coins. In reality, the biblical Jesus-Izas was a son of King Abgarus V of Edessa, a princeling with a small realm, a large treasury, and even bigger ambitions. But the wise prince of northern Syria came up against an intractable Rome, and his many plans crumbled to dust. The jacket image of this book shows King Jesus-Izas wearing a Crown of Thorns, the ceremonial crown of the Edessan monarchy

Mary Magdalene, Princess of Orange

Did Mary Magdalene travel to Provence, in France? Ralph follows the trail of mythology and reveals compelling circumstantial evidence that she did, and that her presence has left its mark on the history of the region. In addition, Ralph suggests that the legacy of Mary Magdalene was bequeathed upon the city of Orange in southern France, the city that was central to the Royal Dutch House of Orange, and thus central to the entire Reformation and Enlightenment movement.

The Grail Cypher

The legends of King Arthur were brought back from Syrio-Judaea in the early 12th century by the Knights Templar. And they chronicle events that occurred in 1st century Judaea, not 6th century Wales. Which is why Geoffrey of Monmouth wrote the first detailed Arthurian account at this very time, using a Norman-Bretton manuscript.

The Egyptian Exodus Series

Jesus, Last of the Pharaohs

Jesus, Last of the Pharaohs demonstrates that the Old Testament patriarchs were the Hyksos pharaohs of Egypt. The book also begins the New Testament investigation that eventually resulted in The King Jesus Trilogy.

the sequel to Jesus

Tempest & Exodus

Tempest & Exodus demonstrates that the Egyptians also recorded the biblical plagues and exodus, which were actually caused by the eruption of Thera-Santorini in the 16th century BC. The book also traces a much more realistic route for the Exodus, and in doing so it discovers the true location of Mt Sinai and its sacred chamber of god
