Before reading this book, I want to let you know that the target audience is the young generation of Indian middle class. The language is Indian English and I have tried my best to make it communicative so that the common people and the beginners, especially of the Indian diaspora, can also understand it. The native reader of English may frown at it.
Before beginning, I want to request you to do a little exercise. Just remember and recall the problems you had in your relationships with anyone, he/she can be your parent, brother, sister, wife, husband, friend, lover, or someone else.
Now write down any three problems you have with them in your notes.
Then, I want you to do another tougher task. Write down any three problems that you think they may have with you! Just think according to their point of view. Save these notes. You may perhaps want to refer to them later when youve finished this book.
Have a happy reading...

Prologue
Durvish pushed open the door and walked towards his cabin. He was looking for Sanjana, his assistant, but the seat was empty. As he moved inside her cabin, he looked and abruptly froze in his tracks! Sanjana was standing against the wall, with a man covering her, his body seemed pressed against her and looked as if their lips were locked... by the way his hands had cupped her face and Sanjanas slender fingers gripped his wrists.
He was speechless and shocked. After a moment, blurted out Oh God!!... he choked on a lump that had formed in his throat.
Durvish Sanjana gasped, untangling herself from the man, pushing him aside and started moving towards Durvish.
Oh!!!... Durvish, its not....
No he called out loud and turned around, walking out, Go to hell... I dont care. He almost shouted.
Sanjana, the guy, spoke from behind her, Is he your boss... sweetheart?
Durvish could hear him and he clenched his teeth... A lava of hot blood rose up his temples on hearing the word sweetheart ... he wanted to shoot this bastard!....and his cohort!.... there and then!
Sanjana turned towards the man and shouted, Thats enough Rohan!... I cant take it anymore... just leave this place. Now!
Durvish was taken aback on hearing Sanjanas words... He stopped and mumbled My God!... so, this is Rohan Rastogi?
He moved in his cabin... he had given his heart to this woman and she just ruined it with such blatant audacity!... romancing her ex in his own office!!
Chapter One
I went to Ajmer to meet my cousin and we planned to celebrate the coming new year at Pushkar, a famous tourist place in Rajsthan. We checked into a resort on 31 December, and as I was into writing a novel and I used to take any opportunity to meet and talk with random people on matters of relationship, so as to gather material for my book.
Consequently, sitting in the bar area, I approached Yogesh, my cousin, to share some of his life experiences which also included his love relationships. He was happy to share his first love story and we dwelled deeper in to his story as time went by. Seeing my keen interest, He opened up more, notwithstanding the fact that we were already getting high after a couple of drinks. One thing led to other and as he recalled the past, he became quite sentimental and emotional, started sobbing. Alcohol was more to blame. I tried to console and control him and frankly the situation was getting a little embarrassing as the people sitting at the other tables were staring at us.
Regardless of the fact that I should have stopped him from making a scene, I went ahead trying to get as much as of his story as I could. This had more to do to meet the deadline set by my publisher rather than a concern for his mental state.
The fact was also that, at that juncture, I needed a final twist in my novel and I had decided to make it from a real-life incident of someones life. It was sort of my methodology, when I struck up conversation with total strangers. I used to be very casual and friendly in my approach and lead the conversation gradually, building up confidence and when they were comfortable with me, I used to come to the point where they used to reveal their personal life details without any hesitation.
But with Yogesh, I regretted having started this because I didnt know how he would behave when he was drunk! To take the matter under control, I took him away from the table to the dance floor, in an attempt to distract him from what he was doing. He began shaking legs and moving body on some funky Bollywood numbers and that worked very well. There were a lot of couples on the dance floor and they were in various moods, enjoying the evening and the occasion.
It was then I noticed a guy in his twenties, dancing all alone, his dancing skills were exquisite and was attracting a lot of attention from couples around. He was six feet tall, handsome, lean, muscular physique and looked like a model. In fact, his face seemed familiar, resembling Durvish Saxena, a famous model. Meanwhile, Yogesh demanded another drink and I reluctantly went back to the table. He had a couple of more drinks and eventually became really drunk. After some time, he realized he was totally tipsy and announced,
Okay, Im feeling sleepy.
And as he tried to stand up he could not control himself and fell down. I immediately helped him and tried to make him walk. All the while people around us were laughing and making fun. I realized one from the crowd came forward and started helping me. It was the same guy with those great dancing skills. We both struggled to take Yogesh to his room and somehow managed to put him on his bed. I thanked him profusely as we returned to the bar, to share a few drinks. As we introduced ourselves, I realized, that I was right. He was indeed Durvish Saxena, the famous model. Striking up conversation, I asked him why he was alone. Usually models dont hang around without an entourage of fairer sex around them.
He replied, This place is little less obtrusive and remote.and I like solitude. I love this place.
