Anyone can communicate with animals. Telepathic animal communication is not something new; it has been going on for ages in many different cultures. So what is telepathic communication? My definition is that it is the universal language that we all share as brothers and sisters on the Earth Mother. It is the foundation for all language.
Telepathic communication often comes in the form of seeing, hearing, knowing, and/or feeling. For example, a person may receive a thought in the form of a picture. A person may actually hear in his or her mind a thought with words. Many people relate to a knowing or feeling. I will often hear someone say, I knew that was what my dog wanted, or, I had a feeling that was what was going on.
At one of my communication workshops I asked the participants to share any personal experiences with telepathic animal communication. One woman told us that she was reading a book when she had the feeling that someone was watching her. She lowered her book to find her Australian shepherd mix sitting in front of her, staring. She told us, I knew he wanted me to turn the fan on, so I did; then I went back to reading my book. It was a few minutes after I started reading that I realized what had just happened. I lowered my book again to see my dog lying on the floor contentedly as the fan blew across his body.
I have been intuitively interacting with the animals since childhood. As long as I can remember I knew I was to work with animals. So for a number of years I worked in the animal care field. Because telepathic communication was not an accepted practice, for a brief time in my life I pushed my intuitive abilities aside. I found each of my animal-related occupations rewarding and educational, yet there was always something missing. There was a promise deep within, a part of me waiting to be lived. I was to incorporate my ability to communicate with the animals into my work. After reading Kinship with All Life, by J. Allen Boone, a book about the author's experiences with telepathic animal communication, I was finally able to step out and walk and talk with conviction of the heart.
I am but a messenger. Talking with the Animals is their gift of their wisdom and insights.
He had a picturesque life, blessed by youth, health, loving caregivers, friends, and a sense of purpose. He told me he was here to throw a spark into the mundane. To keep things enlivened, fresh, and new. If things got too serious, or a routine too stale, he would find some silly antic to bring laughter into the picture. He was good at his job. His caregivers thought of him as the barn jokester.
The five-year-old chestnut gelding was loving life. In the morning he would be turned out to his gently rolling pastures to enjoy the delicious grass and the company of a good horse companion. He loved being outside; there was so much for the senses to indulge in. He especially liked watching the activities of the farm. People were pulling up in their vehicles, some walking through the barn and visiting the horses inside. It was fun to check the people out. Occasionally a horse would leave or come back home. Then there were those silly dogs that lived on the property. They provided lots of entertainment. One of the dogs was constantly getting the others stirred up and interested in chasing something that didn't even exist. When the other dogs ran off, the small female dog that had started the chase stayed back and laughed. Zoom admired that dog. She knew how to have fun. In the evening Zoom was returned to the security and comfort of his stall, where he enjoyed grain and fresh hay.
One cold winter's morning, Zoom was let out into his pasture. Something happened that day that would change his perspective forever. No longer would he enjoy watching the dogs at play or see the sunlight sparkling on the dewy grass. Zoom's sunlight was gone.
Normally, Zoom would wait by the gate when it was getting close to time to return to the barn. This particular evening, Becky, the barn manager, was concerned when he wasn't waiting for her. She found him standing in the pasture with a stunned look on his face. Somehow she managed to get the disoriented and terrified horse back into his stall before calling the veterinarian.
The veterinarian confirmed Becky'S worst fear. Zoom was completely blind. Tests were run and no cause was found for the blindness. To make matters worse, Zoom's terror was compounding. He would bump into the wall of his stall and react wildly; noises startled him just as badly. His fear was understandable but his reactions were very dangerous for his caregivers and himself. Because no cause could be found for the blindness, the doctors did not know what could be done for Zoom. Euthanasia was suggested as the best thing for him.
