Introduction
If this book has reached your hands, surely its because, like me, you love crafts and unicorns. Hello, everyone! My name is Isa, and I have created this book with a lot of love especially for you. However, before you start, let me tell you a little more about me.
I have always liked making crafts, but it was three years ago when I decided to share my hobby with the world through my YouTube channels Isas World (in English) and El Mundo de Isa (in Spanish), where I upload videos every week with tutorials explaining how to make crafts of all styles: kawaii, vintage, country, etc. I also create DIY tutorials for room decorating, organising supplies, crafts for schools and more!
If you havent heard of or visited my channels, I would be very happy if you visited, especially if you become part of my virtual club with which I love to share this hobby.
Throughout this book youll notice I have incorporated hashtags so you can showcase your finished projects! When you replicate one of the crafts in this book, upload a photo to any social network with the #IsasUnicornCrafts hashtag, so I can see it and give you a like, or comment.
In this book you will discover twenty-seven fun crafts inspired by unicorns, explained step by step, that will awaken your most magical and creative side. You can use the crafts you create to customise a party, organise your school supplies or give as gifts, among many other practical uses.
I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have enjoyed writing it and that through its pages the spirits of unicorns fill your heart with a rainbow of happiness.
BE A UNICORN. LETS GET STARTED!
IF YOU DONT HAVE A GREEN THUMB, ITS BETTER TO HAVE PLANTS THAT DONT NEED MUCH WATERING.
Unicorn Cactus Pot
#UnicornPot #IsasUnicornCrafts
I love growing plants, but if Im being honest, even my cactuses dry up. Im not sure what Im doing wrong, but for some reason Im not the best gardener.
I thought that Id never be able to have a plant on my table, but I didnt let my doubts get the best of me. I needed a solution to my problem, so I thought to myself: Stones cant dry up!
I set out on a Sunday morning to create this project, and at the end of the afternoon I had a beautiful unicorn pot on my desk. The difficulty for this project is medium.
SUPPLIES:
Clay pot
Acrylic paints (colours: white, light green and dark green)
Pink and green air-dry modelling clay
Golden foam paper with glitter
Super glue
Black permanent marker
Soft brush
Pink chalk
4 elongated stones
2 small artificial flowers
Decorative sand (white)
INSTRUCTIONS:
I have chosen a 6-inch/15 cm (diameter) ceramic pot for this project, but this craft does not require exact measurements, so you can choose any size pot that you like.
First, paint the pot with white acrylic paint; for better coverage apply two coats of paint, allowing the pot to dry between coats. Let it dry completely. Meanwhile, you can move on to the next step.
Decorate the top rim with some roses. To make the roses, use pink and green modelling clay. Make a bunch of pink balls, about the size of a pea, and crush each with the tip of your finger.
