Introduction
Cakes have a long history that dates back to 2200BC; while no one can particularly say when cakes were invented or came into existence, at the time, the Egyptians knew about baking sweet treats. So it could be said that cakes existed then. Today, cakes abound in every region and are used in celebration and more. We have pound cakes, chiffon cakes, butter cakes, Genoise cakes, biscuit cakes, sponge cakes, angel cakes, and flourless cakes. Cakes are more than baked goods; if one looks or tastes like, it is a cake.
If you need a sweet treat to satisfy your sweet tooth, these are some recipes to ensure you are satisfied.
