This might seem like a strange topic to you. Essential oils for pets, its not something that you hear about every day. You might know of essential oils that have been used on humans, and you yourself might even reap in the benefits of these essential oils. But the truth is, you can actually use these essential oils on pets as well. They have a wide variety of therapeutic effects on pets, and its something that is important for some pets if you want a natural means to help any animal that is having issues.

For some owners, living a natural lifestyle can be great for them, and they want their fur babies to have the same benefits. Thats totally fine, and you can do that. This book will actually cover the best essential oils for bets out there. They have calming effects on pets for when theyre hyper, they can help soothe aches and pains, and it can help in the treatment of wounds. They might be able to help better that taking an essential oil might. But this is a way to help supplement a pets health, and its something that many pets will benefit from. So be careful with these, use them effectively, and you will surely have a much better time with your pets than ever before. It can be fun too, so try it out. This book is a great guideline and will go over nine essential oils that can really help.

Pan Away and Peppermint

The first two that I will talk about are great for any pet that has had a surgery or even for any injuries that might have happened. They are called Pan Away and peppermint. Youve probably heard of peppermint before, but it has some great benefits in animals as well. This section will focus on these two oils first and what they can do for a pet.

Pan away is the best essential oil blend for a pet after pain or an injury. If you went to help promote natural healing with your pet, or help your pet heal faster, you can use this. You have to dilute it though to at least 75% if youre going to use it on a cat though. For this oil blend, you can use it for any sever pain that they might be in, such as immediately after an injury, for an animal that is suffering from osteo-arthritis, dental extractions, or after a surgery. Its a natural pain reliever, but shouldnt be taken in place of a painkiller if your pet is in a lot of pain. You can use these mostly in warm compresses or with acupressure and acupuncture points and you just have to put it on your pet. This is great for any relief to pain, and the oils will help soothe the wounds and make it more tolerable for when your pet recovers from their injury or surgery.

Then there is peppermint. Peppermint is the sort of auxiliary essential oil to Pan away. Peppermint comes from a plant, and youve probably had it before in mints and such. This is major oil thats also used for overheating. If your pet has an inflammation, or if they feel overheated, this is a great essential oil to use simply because it helps cool the pet down quickly. For inflammation, this provides great relief to the pet and can help them feel less pain as well. If youre going on a hike with your pet, you can put a drop of this in the water to help cool the pets internal organs. This can also be used on cats too, just dilute it to 75%. Finally, this great essential oil can also be used for any sever injuries as well because it is an analgesic and it is non-infectious, which means it wont make the pain that your furry friend is experiencing any worse. This is a great essential oil for pretty much any pain, and it is a major essential oil to keep around if you have to take care and help out your pet.

Frankincense and Lemon

The next two essential oils that we will be going into are frankincense and lemon. Now, lemon might be a strange oil period, but you can get it from the lemon tree. These two essential oils are great for general issues that are going on, and it also is great for parasites and other issues that might be happening. This section will go into depth on these two and the major benefits that both of these essential oils hold.

Frankincense is an essential oil that youve probably heard of from others who have used it. Its safe oil for smaller pets and birds, but it can be used on generally any animal. However, if your pet is sensitive to other oils, or doesnt like them because they bother them, this is a great one to start with because its lighter than the others.
