About the authors
Steven Horak is a contributing author to the Rough Guide to the CzechRepublic and Make the Most of Your Time onEarth. He loves living in Santa Fe, New Mexico, but does lamentthe lack of excellent whale-watching possibilities so prevalent throughoutQubec.
Stephen Keeling first travelled to Canada in 1993, on the trail of a great uncle who hademigrated in the 1920s. He worked as a financial journalist for seven yearsbefore writing his first Rough Guide in 2005, and has since worked on booksto Florida, Mexico, New England, Puerto Rico, Spain and Tuscany amongothers. He lives in New York City.
Phil Lee first got to know Canada as a bartender, but subsequent visits have been(almost entirely) sober. He has been writing for Rough Guides for well overtwenty years and his other books in the series include Norway, Mallorca& Menorca, and Britain. He lives in Nottingham, where he was born andraised.
AnneLise Sorensen ( annelisesorensen.com )has penned and wine-tasted her way across four continents, writing andreporting for guidebooks, magazines, newspapers, websites, radio andtelevision. She lives in New York City.
Christian Williams has longstanding links with Canada that include family ties and severalmountain bike scars. He has written or co-authored some twenty booksincluding the Rough Guides to Skiing and Snowboarding, Colorado, Tenerife,Germany, Austria and Berlin, his hometown.
