INTRODUCTION
Well, all we can do is pray about it.
O h, no! I cant believe I said that. Again. All we can do is pray? How shortsighted can I be? Great things happen while Im on my knees. Forces of heaven are released when one person goes to prayer. The same power that raised my Lord Jesus from the dead is available for my needs.
Thank You that when I bow in prayer, Your Son intercedes. In His purity, He raises each of my petitions to You.
Help me pray within Your will. Guide me to right motives while I pray. Give me faith to release my prayers, to commit them to Your power, Your love, and Your glory.
Remind me often, Lord, that according to Your will, prayer can move mountains, stop rivers, form seasons, and, best of all, change hearts.
Father, here are my concerns and needs. I commit them to You. I thank You in Jesus name for the answers that will come according to Your will. I trust Your wisdom and give You all the praise.
And he who searches our hearts knows the mind
of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for
the saints in accordance with Gods will.

P RAISE
Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee
Joyful, joyful, we adore Thee.
God of glory, Lord of love;
Hearts unfold like flowers before Thee,
Opening to the sun above.
Melt the clouds of sin and sadness,
Drive the dark of doubt away;
Giver of immortal gladness,
Fill us with the light of day.
H ENRY V AN D YKE
Give unto the L ORD , O ye mighty,
give unto the L ORD glory and strength.
Give unto the L ORD the glory
due unto his name; worship the L ORD
in the beauty of holiness.
P SALM 29:12 KJV
PRAISE YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE
F ather, thank You for being so patient with me. For the many times I mess things up and You are still there for me, I am grateful. You are truly my heavenly Father. How thankful I am for Your tender mercies, Your sympathy toward me when I need You most. I reverence You, Lord. How marvelous are Your wondrous ways, how kind Your forgiving grace.
When Im not wise in my spending, You still provide my needs; when I stumble, You hold me up. You watch over me through day and night.
You protect me from harms way, wrapping Your wings about me as an eagle protects her young. She carries them on her wings and doesnt let them fall. Thank You for carrying me, too.
Praise You for Your endless love and compassion. You have kept me safe from disaster so many times. You heal my illnesses. You strengthen my mind, soul, and body. Thank You for the love You show me every day.
Forgive me for my thoughtlessness and the times I mistreat You. I cant understand why You love me!
I marvel that You know me so well. You know the hairs on my head. You care about the pain in my head, my hands, my back, my feet. When a sparrow falls, You care. How much then You must care for me.
Help me, Father, to think before I act, to be more cautious, and to take better care of myself. Thank You for Your patience and forgiving love.
Bless the L ORD , O my soul: and all
that is within me, bless his holy name.
Bless the L ORD , O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits:
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth
thee with loving kindness and tender mercies;
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things;
so that thy youth is renewed like the eagles.
The L ORD executeth righteousness and
judgment for all that are oppressed.
He made known his ways unto Moses,
his acts unto the children of Israel.
The L ORD is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
He will not always chide: neither
will he keep his anger for ever.
He hath not dealt with us after our sins;
nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
For as the heaven is high above the earth,
so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
As far as the east is from the west, so far
hath he removed our transgressions from us.
Like as a father pitieth his children,
so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.
P SALM 103:113 KJV
Patience
Is there ambition in my heart?
Search, gracious God, and see;
Or do I act a haughty part?
Lord, I appeal to Thee.
I charge my thoughts, be humble still,
All my carriage mild,
Content, my Father, with Thy will,
And quiet as a child.
The patient soul, the lowly mind
