Welcome to Mornings with Jesus 2022! Whether you are a new reader or are already familiar with this devotional, know that each reading, like the voice of a trusted friend, offers inspiration, hope, and the peace that comes from walking with Him.

Our theme this year is, Courage as found in Psalm 31:24: Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD (NKJV). In 365 new devotions, fourteen women of faith share stories of how Jesus strengthens their hearts as they walk with Him every day. As you read the daily Scripture and narrative and contemplate the Faith Step, we pray that you will draw closer into fellowship with Jesus.

This year Susanna Foth Aughtmon shares the lessons she learned in a series called Transitions. Sharon Hinck reflects on the Beatitudes, and Jeanette Levellie meditates on Holy Week. Isabella Yosuico, writing now as Isabella Campolattaro, talks about the grace found after divorce. Heidi Gaul shines a light on Advent and the joy and expectation that lead into Christmas. Returning, too, are veterans Gwen Ford Faulkenberry, Grace Fox, Dianne Neal Matthews, and Cynthia Ruchti. Jeannie Blackmer, Pat Butler Dyson, and Pamela Toussaint Howard are back as well. Two new voices, Cassandra Tiersma and Barbranda Lumpkins Walls, join the chorus, sharing grace notes and wisdom about the presence of Jesus in their daily lives.

It is our hope that Mornings with Jesus 2022 will put a song in your heart and encourage you to take a daily Faith Step that draws you closer to Jesus.
