INTRODUCTION
The Man Cave Cookbook was created specifically for Man Cave Men - guys who want to hang out and eat, or want a reason to eat, so they hang out. The book contains a large number of recipes chosen for two specific reasons: a) recipes have to be relatively easy to make (duh) and b) they had to taste pretty awesome. Whether you have some pretty decent cooking skills, or none at all, the Man Cave Cookbook aims to please, with recipes that appeal to Man Cave Men across all levels of Man Cave cooking skills. To make it easier to find the Man Cave Recipe youre looking for, youll find a two-level table of contents, with a list of categories and recipes for each category. 8 Layer Taco Dip
2 cans refried beans 2 cans avocado dip 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 (16 oz.) container sour cream 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix 3 small tomatoes, diced 3 green onions, sliced thin 1 pkg. shredded Mexican or Cheddar cheese 1 cup shredded lettuce 1 can black olives, pitted & sliced 1 large bag nacho chips Spread refried beans to desired thickness on bottom of serving plate or 7 x 11 shallow baking dish. Mix cream cheese, sour cream and taco mix, blend well, and spread on top of bean layer.

Next, spread layer of avocado dip on top of sour cream layer. Layer on diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, diced green onions and shredded cheese. Top with black olives. Serve with nacho chips. Assemble near party time to prevent a soggy dip. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp.

Worcestershire sauce Preheat oven to 350 F. Thoroughly combine all ingredients. Place in a 1-quart casserole and bake for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Let cool 10 minutes before serving. Makes 2 1/2 cups dip. chopped fresh chives or green onion tops 1 1/2 tsp. chopped fresh chives or green onion tops 1 1/2 tsp.

Dijon mustard 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice 1/4 tsp. pepper Cut eggs lengthwise in half. Remove yolks to medium bowl. Reserve 24 white halves. Finely Chop remaining 4 white halves.

Mash yolks with fork. Add mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, lemon juice and pepper; mix well. Add chopped egg whites, bacon, cheese and chives; mix well. Spoon or pipe 1 heaping Tbsp. yolk mixture into each reserved egg white half. Refrigerate, covered, to allow flavors to blend.

Makes 24 servings.

Bacon Jalapeno Dip
2 cups shredded Cheddar 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1/2 cup sour cream 1/4 cup milk 4 slices chopped cooked bacon 1 Tbsp. bacon drippings 1 tsp. white wine vinegar 2 thinly sliced jalapenos Panko bread crumbs Preheat oven to 350 F. In bowl, mix all ingredients thoroughly.

Spread in a baking dish; top with buttered breadcrumbs. Bake 30 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Serves 4 - 6.

Beefy Pizza Bagels
4 plain bagels, halved 1/2 lb. lean ground beef, cooked 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup pizza or spaghetti sauce Preheat oven to 350 F. pizza sauce. pizza sauce.

Top with approximately 3 Tbsp. cooked ground beef, then sprinkle with 1 Tbsp. shredded cheese. Place bagels on cookie sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray or covered with nonstick aluminum foil. Bake 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bagel is golden brown.

Beer-n-Bacon Nuts
1 1/2 cups corn nuts 6 slices cooked bacon, chopped 1/3 cup beer 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup almonds 1 cup peanuts 1 Tbsp. salt 1 pinch cayenne Preheat oven to 350 F. salt 1 pinch cayenne Preheat oven to 350 F.

In large saucepan, boil beer, brown sugar, bacon, salt and cayenne pepper until the beer evaporates, approximately 8 minutes. Mix in 1 1/2 cups corn nuts and 1 cup each almonds and peanuts. Pour mixture onto baking sheet lined with non-stick aluminum foil. Bake 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Blazing Trail Mix
2 cups miniature wheat or shredded bran squares 1 cup thin pretzel sticks, unsalted, broken into pieces 1/2 cup lentils, cooked 1/2 cup quick-cooking rolled oats 1/2 cup raisins 1/2 cup dried apples, chopped 1/4 cup honey 2 tsp. coriander, ground 1/4 tsp. cumin, ground 1/4 tsp. paprika 1/8 tsp. red pepper, ground Preheat oven to 350 F. red pepper, ground Preheat oven to 350 F.

In a 13 x 9-inch baking pan, combine the wheat or bran squares, pretzels, lentils, oats, raisins, and apples. In a small bowl, stir together the honey, curry powder, coriander, cumin, paprika and pepper. Drizzle the honey mixture over the cereal mixture. Toss until evenly coated. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until crisp, stirring occasionally.

Instant Buffalo Chicken Sliders
1 Rotisserie chicken 1/4 cup sour cream 1/2cup Buffalo wing sauce 12 Mini buns Celery stalks Blue cheese dressing Mix 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken with 1/4 cup each sour cream and Buffalo hot sauce and warm in microwave.
Instant Buffalo Chicken Sliders
1 Rotisserie chicken 1/4 cup sour cream 1/2cup Buffalo wing sauce 12 Mini buns Celery stalks Blue cheese dressing Mix 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken with 1/4 cup each sour cream and Buffalo hot sauce and warm in microwave.

Serve on mini buns with sides of celery and blue cheese. Makes 12.

Spicy Buffalo-Style Meatballs
1 (18 oz.) pkg. fully-cooked beef meatballs 3 Tbsp. hot pepper sauce 2 Tbsp. honey Prepared blue cheese dressing Prepared ranch dressing Celery sticks Cook meatballs according to package directions. honey Prepared blue cheese dressing Prepared ranch dressing Celery sticks Cook meatballs according to package directions.

Meanwhile, combine hot pepper sauce, butter and honey in large bowl; mix well. Add meatballs; stir to coat. Serve with dressings and celery sticks, as desired. Makes about 36 appetizers.
