Warning.

Several uses are here of the term "Buddha", which originally means "awakened consciousness" or "intellectual" in Sanskrit. The term generally refers to the Buddha Siddhartha Gautama Sakyamuni, a prince of Vedism, who lived in India at the sixth century BC.

The real identity of a being, which is opposed to its ego or I / me, is called "nature Buddha" or "Buddha inside of me". The real identity of a being is classically manifested through three forms: shine, radiant and imminent. The real identity of a being comes from the universal field of cosmic energy, of which man is a particularization in the form of an individual.

The Buddha denounced the worldly self as an imposture or "fake identity". He described that it is consisting of five elements (brightness, air, fire, water and earth), aggregating the memories circulating inside of the dark side of the universal cosmic energy field. We speak of aggregates, when - instead of expressing themselves as pure and original elements - memories transform them into existential mechanisms (dualistic consciousness, karmic motor, perception, conditioned form and sensation).

In the cosmogonic, cosmological and psychological enumerations of Buddhism, there are five Buddhas called "conquerors" ("jina"), who are the supreme source of the five elements and their personification into anthropomorphic form.

The description of these aspects of the Buddhist tradition varies from school to school and is the subject of heated debates. I tried to be as conciliatory as possible.

These descriptions are the same in Abrahamic monotheism:

- the prophets are awakened consciences (awaken to God), therefore Buddhas;

- the five great victory's Buddhas" are represented in the form of a supreme being on a throne, surrounded by four great being alive" (a lion, a bull, an eagle and an angel);

- any being on earth has a divine nature (pure and awaken, participating of the condition of God) and a worldly or human nature (characterized by the grip of sin and defilements).

"While the new generations will be formed in this way, it will be necessary to fight the Adonaism (the Abrahamic and Buddhist monotheism) in the minds, by all sorts of publications showing how monstrous and ridiculous the idea of divinity, such as the priests of superstition represent it",

Albert Pike, Letter to Mazzini, reformer of the American Scottish Rite, inspirer of B'Nai B'Rith and founder of Ku Kux Klan.

"It is nice that the people of this nation do not understand the banking and monetary system. Because if that were the case, I think we would face a revolution before tomorrow morning".

Henry Ford.

"If the people had any idea what we did, he would drag us into the street and lynch us".

George H. W. Bush.

Introduction.

Victims of NDE (Near Death Experience) all testify that as life died out in their bodies, they saw their events unfold, in the pure clarity of their consciousness. They experimented in parallel the presence of a radiant, luminous and loving energy field. They declare that they have been able to trust it and choose consciously their future after-life or return to our world to act in a more positive way.

Since 2.500 years, the psychonauts of Buddhism described the same process of remembrance and affirmed that it is an unique opportunity to either definitively free oneself from the suffering inherent in the cycle of existences, or to direct the flow of consciousness towards a couple of his choice and to obtain they a better rebirth. This opportunity is the subject of a true guide for the dying and those who accompany them: the Tibetan book of the deaths or "bardo thdol" (or literally "liberation by listening in intermediate states").

If this is the case, if we make this double experience and since it seems so beneficial, why wait to leave earthly existence to learn it lesson and guide our future? Why not do this self-examination every year, every week, every day, every hour and every act?

The natural after-death moment of introspection is well known by Japanese meditators. They call it "naikan" and have made it a psychotherapy method known for its simplicity and its efficiency. The practice of Naikan aims to place the consciousness in a state of destitution and concentration which alone allow to bear on oneself a new, refreshing and authentically therapeutic look. Naikan ( ) literally means "inner look" or "introspection".

In addition to Reiki "natural healing method" of Mikao Usui, of which he is in a sense the psychological aspect, the Naikan has become in a short time a powerful help for personal development, really appreciated by his practitioners.

Reiki and Naikan appeared in the same spots and at the same time, while Japan was undergoing major economic, social and political changes. No doubt they both answered to a need of the Japanese soul to face modernity with simplified and quickly effective tools, drawn from ancient traditions.

It is common to hear that Naikan helps to free oneself permanently from the mental and emotional patterns that distort the good perception of life and prevent us from appreciating all its richness and opportunities. So what is this Naikan? What is its origin ? How does Naikan proceed? How can Naikan help us? How is Naikan different from Western psychological therapies?

If it is not regressive and focused on verbalization, nor does it prescribe drugs - as does the Freudian psychiatrist - is Naikan a technique of "positive thinking", such as the Cous method in France or the Shakti Gawains visualization technique in the American new-age field? Is Naikan a variant of self-hypnosis? Is it a Japanese form of tai-chi or chi-kong, these Chinese arts so popular now in the West?

Not at all ! The Japanese have a formula that sums up the Naikan's proposition well: they call it "true thinking." This enigmatic formula still requires explanation. Do we have the unfortunate tendency to "think wrong"? False ... as false to make us sick, as suggested by Mikao Usui in the introduction to his Reiki Therapy Manual (Usui Reiki Hikkei)? Really ?

The cousin of the Emperor of Japan stated in response to the question "What is Usui's natural healing method (Reiki)? :

"I received from Emperor Meiji his last instructions. In order to integrate my teachings and my trainings and to experience them physically and spiritually, and also to live righteously with his human condition, we must first heal our way of thinking. Second, we must keep our bodies healthy. If our thinking is healthy and truthful, the body naturally retains its good shape. The mission of Usui's natural care method is to lead to a peaceful and happy life, for oneself, and to invite others to care for others and to provide them with well-being."
