And yet, the Bible assures us it doesnt matter what happens politically, morally, socially, or economically in the world around us if we have Christ in usif we have the kingdom of God within usbecause with Christ and in Christ, we can have unshakeable faith.
The kind of faith that is impossible to change, shake, or beat down. The kind of faith that is confident in knowing Jesus, our rock and mighty fortress. The One who promised to never leave us nor forsake us. The One who causes us to triumph over any hurdle or situation trying to destabilize us or stop us from fulfilling our God-given purpose.
God wants you to live on mission. On point. Fulfilling all that He has called you to do. So as we journey through this daily devotional together, it is my prayer that your faith grows bigger than any storm you encounter. That your faith grows bigger than any fear shaking your world. That you grow unshakeable faith for every opportunity ahead.
Faith grows when we believe and declare Gods Word in our lives. When we stand on His promises...
Greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
If our God be for us, then who can be against us (Romans 8:31)?
With the help of our God, we can advance against a troop and scale any wall (Psalm 18:29).
We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13).
I cant wait for us to dive in and walk through the next year together. I believe that our best days are ahead of us and not behind us, so lets get started!
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.

I love new beginnings. The first day of a new year always inspires me to take an honest look at every aspect of my life and schedule, and to decide any necessary adjustments. I want to always be sure Im staying the courselaser focused. I love how Proverbs 4:25 tells us, Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.
I remember when my husband, Nick, bought me a Vespacomplete with driving lessons. The most important point my instructor made was that where I looked was where I would go.
What great advice for the start of a new year! God wants us to be diligent in keeping our eyes firmly fixed on Jesuslaser focused. He wants us to stay the course, and where we focus is where well go.
Lets commit to focusing on Jesusthe One who calms the storms. Then we wont be overwhelmed by our circumstances, problems, challenges, or feelings. We wont fear any waves of opposition. Instead, faith will rise up and make us unshakeable!
Lord, help me to stay focused on You, every moment of every day.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

The longer I live, the more I see how God has been writing a great story in my life. Its plot illustrates His power to transform a life shaped by shame into a life full of freedoma life I live as a champion, Spirit-filled and Spirit-led. As a child and a teen, I never could have imagined such a beautiful story for myself. But God is a magnificent author, and I am so thankful I get to live His story for my life every day.
God wants to do the very same thing for you. He created you for a specific purpose. He has a powerful plana significant reframingfor your life. And guess what? Slavery has no place in Gods storyline. Jesus came to set you free from every bondageshame, fear, doubt, painfrom whatever has enslaved you. Yes, the Enemy will always try to throw his weights back on you, but when you feel them start to pull you down, declare todays verse over your life. Personalize it and remember to stand firm in your God-given freedom.
