PREFATORY NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR

THIS BOOK HAS BEEN CHANNELED FROM GOD!

Life has a funny way of making you pay for everything it gives you. The good news is that it always rewards you for the things it takes away. This is a book about happiness, the thing everybody deserves, yearns for, and chases after, the thing you think everybody else gets. Of course, the trick is knowing what happiness is, mainly because what brings me joy might turn you off completely, and your bliss is probably something I dont give a damn about. So one of the things we shall do in this book is describe, astrologically, where your true happiness lies, what throws you off course, and what puts you back on the path.

Ive been devoting my whole adult life to the study and practice of astrology, and have had the blessing and privilege of seeing people magically transformed right before my eyes. It doesnt happen all that often, but when it does, Technicolor appears where there was once black and white, humming birds start humming, and bumble bees buzz all over the place. Happiness comes when it dawns on you who you really are and what in the name of tarnation you are doing here on Earth. When we see the Sun and Moon rising and setting each day and observe the cycles repeated over and over with such stunningly accurate correspondence to our behavior, we feel connected to the Universe. And when we feel connected we assume there is meaning to the cycles and purpose to the situations, circumstances, and events we encounter throughout our life. Maybe, however, it could all be a giant coincidence.

Consider the noble kitchen cockroach. Turn the light off, and the roaches come out. Turn it on, and they scurry away. Turn it off, and they return. Back on and away they go. If you do it enough times with enough regularity, maybe they will think theres a higher purpose to all.

The fact is, though, that we are not roaches crawling over a melon. We dont merely respond mindlessly to stimuli. We have choices. Astrological cycles give us a chance to process information, record experiences and evaluate them, and creatively change our abilities to adapt and grow. Thanks to family, school, government, and religion, we often shun our raw emotions, never daring to acknowledge the volcanic forces that churn beneath the surface of our minds. In our efforts to be polite and social, we allow a crust of defense and propriety to form around our creative core. Astrology can help us break through to that core by putting us in touch with everything we know we could be but have been programmed to forgetour profound connection to our Sun Sign and all the forces that affect it.

In this book we are going to look at how our Sun Sign (and other major forces) can overcome almost anything if we are hip to all the forces operating from within and without. Well see what residue from childhood drags us backward, throws us off course, and keeps us from realizing our potential, and we will look at the steps we need to take to get back on that path to fulfillment and stay on the road to happiness.

So just exactly where did I get my information for the material to be found on the following pages?

God told me, of course.

This book has been channeled straight from God. Actually, that statement is no more ridiculous than the claims of Moses and all the rest of the inspired prophets who received all the dos and donts found in the Bible, which, by the way, not too many people live by these days. And its certainly no more absurd than the bazillion and one grandiose prophecies and visions touted by all the evangelists springing up everywhere, all with their version of heavens latest press release. Astrologers believe that knowledge of how the planets and stars move around above our heads can help bring about great changes in human consciousness. Such transformations occur when we bring our behavior in line with our cosmic destiny and heal ourselves of false thinking. Its what Moses, Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad, and all the wise thinkers, prophets, and magicians throughout history have been after. Its all about the healing of the mind despite the pickle juice its been steeping in since childhood. Yours. Mine. Everybodys.

As we move through the twenty-first century, no matter who we are or where we come from, everything that we ever thought was absolutely, immutably, 100 percent eternally true is going to be reexamined. Whether the Pope will don a flowered muumuu or be replaced by a college of womenonly time will tell, but shocking and seemingly heretical and sacrilegious events will shatter forever our nice, safe, little beliefs about who made us and why we are here. Even atheists will not escape unscathed. Ironically enough, when they have their cozy little belief in Nothing all in place, BOOOM! theyll experience a miracle and have to deal with that. There will be more zealots and heretics walking the streets than Elvis impersonators.
