A BOOK TO INSPIRE YOUR POSITIVE SELF This upside down book replicates the cycle of thought. Positive thinking does not just happen, but often occurs in tandem with the outgrowth of negative thought. If not for loss, a person might not be able to appreciate a gain in finances, relationships, and employment among many other circumstances in life. In order to focus on the good, the bad needs to be acknowledged. This cyclic balance demonstrates the ebb and flow of the Universe constantly in motion both for and against itself. NAPOLEON HILL was born in Wise County, Virginia. He began his writing career at age 13 as a mountain reporter for small town newspapers and went on to become Americas most beloved motivational author. His work stands as a monument to individual achievement and is the cornerstone of modern motivation. His most famous work, Think and Grow Rich, is one of the best-selling books of all time.

Introduction

The Cycle of Thought A Book to Inspire Your Positive Self - image 5

N apoleon Hills The Cycle of Thoughta book to inspire your positive self.

This upside down book replicates the cycle of thought. Positive thinking does not just happen, but often occurs in tandem with the outgrowth of negative thought. If not for loss, a person might not be able to appreciate a gain in finances, relationships, and employment among many other circumstances in life. In order to focus on the good the bad needs to be acknowledged. This cyclic balance demonstrates the ebb and flow of the Universe constantly in motion both for and against itself.

Replication exists throughout nature and so too in individual lives. It has been stated that What we think about we bring about. This upside down book will aid you in seeing the opposite side of many situations and serve as a counter balance to the negative thinking that may confront you each and every day.

As you work through this book, remind yourself that it is ultimately you who creates your end result. Whether it is a blessing or a curse depends upon the system of unconscious habits that you create. These habit programs run your life whether you admit it or not. Being entirely positive or entirely negative is not a realistic approach to life. A person must see the bad in order to see the good. One cannot exist without the other. Dr. J. B. Hill, grandson of Dr. Napoleon Hill, states:

Of course, we have to do more than think positively.

To do otherwise is to proceed blindly along some chosen pathway. For example, negative thinking allows us to provide a framework of problems that need to be solved and anticipate new problems. Imagine some General that pushes his attack forward without worrying about danger to his flanks or logistical tail. How successful will HE be? Understanding ourselves must also include understanding our weaknesses. Our thinking must be multivariate.

When a person begins to understand how the thought process works, he or she can then begin to work on the habits that produce the desired outcomes in life. If you want the desired picture perfect end result you need to install the software programor habitsthat take you to a life well lived.

T his book can be read two ways: right side up or upside down. Imagine as you read that you have a bad angel and a good angel sitting respectively on your left and right shoulders.

The bad angel may advise you to behave one way and the good angel another. Lets let one represent a negative thought and the other a positive thought. In keeping with Dr. Hills philosophy and acknowledging that change does not take place overnight but is a steady progression of small, consistent, daily actions, you can begin to chart a course of improvement for yourself when you identify the two endpoints. First you must know where you are before you can create a roadmap to a new destination. In a similar manner, to move from a negative thought to a positive one requires that a person knows which is which. This book will help you identify non-constructive or even damaging thoughts and then help you move toward more positive ones.

Daily, read the thoughts and let them seep into your mind. Perhaps you might decide to read them at morning, noon, and night. As you discern the negative approach to the topic, the opposing positive thought will give you an alternative route.

Perhaps you would like to journal briefly about the topic as well. This will give you insight into both the negative and positive approaches. Sometimes, a person only recognizes that they are stuck when they begin to notice the landscape is not changing around them. To become unstuck one must first admit that no movement has occurred.

Use this book as a prompt for change. One or two simple revelations can change your entire life. By reading and considering the negative and positive thoughts, you can locate a place within yourself that allows you to move toward an improved version of the life you live.

Be Your Very Best Always,
Judith Williamson
