Chapter 2

Gotta stop here to tell you something. The coolest thing is happening today. The Xtreme Dream Games aregonna be right at my school! Right on the football field, they putup a wild set of half-pipes, quarter-pipes, fun-boxes the works. Its gonna be incredible, and the best thing is that Road-RashReiley will be there! No kidding, the champ himself! And get this he actually used to go to school here!

Back to my weird day and its gonnaget weirder, youll see. Im in Mrs. Noonans class we call herThe Nooner and shes got this kid Gerald Snyder up there doinghis science project demonstration. The kids a brain, but letsjust say hes been super-sizing his Happy Meals a little too much.So anyway, hes going on about vectors and compounds and stuff, andhalf the class is just sleeping. Robyns just doodling, even thoughGeralds got his eye on her the whole time. Thinks hes turning heron with the size of his brain and all that. As if! Shes mygirl even if she doesnt know it yet.

The Nooner gets me up next. Now, Iknow some stuff about science the cool stuff teachers rarelybring up. So I mix this concoction up, telling everybody it cankill a horse, and I chug it down! (Tastes lousy, but itsharmless.) Then I get a little over-dramatic with this zombie maskI made, trying to fool people that my face is melting and stuff.Everybody screams! Well, some crack up. But I get Robyn youshoulda seen her eyes! And, of course, the Nooner freaksout.

But then RRRIIINNNGGG! Saved by thebell!

Finally, its break. I need some lunchmoney, so I get Mitch and his boys to put down a few bucks on acard trick, and theyre dumb enough not to know I got it rigged. Sothey come after me, ready to take my head off and Mr. Perry savesme again! The guys too cool.

Now, this is where it getsweird.

Back in class, this weasely kid isdoing this stupid volcano science demonstration up front youknow, the vinegar and baking soda thing but he gets the chemicalswrong, and BOOM! Junk all over the room. And who does theNooner look at?

ME! Just cause I goof around alittle. Okay, a lot.

And get this she finds a vial ofthe chemical the kid used in my desk! I swear Ididnt set this kid up!

Someone put this stuff in my desk andset me up!

Chapter 3

The Nooner drags me to the Principalsoffice. Now, normally, going to the Principals office is a realbummer, but for me, its worse.

Thats cause the Principal is mymom!

She rails on me about making her lookbad, but come on, I was set up! She doesnt buy it, though. And nowthe Nooners going on about calling the cops! Says I endangeredpeoples lives, almost started a fire, the whole thing. And Momsstarting to bend.

I cant believe it my own mom aboutto sell me out, but she says her hands are tied.

Then I realize Mr. Perry! He saw meat break he knows I couldnt have switched this kidschemicals.

So I go looking for him in the officenext door, but hes not around. Im desperate and then I see myskateboard in his office yes! I snag it but the Nooner sees meand blocks my way, not letting me out!

So I duck down low and skate rightpast her! I skate out to the halls, calling for Mr. Perry. Mom andthe Nooner are after me, telling me to stop but Ive been setup!

They chase me up and down the halls, through my sisters P.E. class in the gym (she loves this, you cantell), past band practice (under the tuba just in time). I grinddown the stairway handrails, getting air off the steps.

Finally I spot the janitors room andditch everybody in there. Safe at last. Only theres Eddie thejanitor looking at me like Im nuts. But he turns out to be a coolguy too. Kind of an ex-doper, and he just knows Iminnocent!

Chapter 4

Here I am, stuck in this little room, and I cant get out to try to clear my name! So I pull out myphone. (You know how Im always doing stunts and all? I design themon my computer first, then download them to my phone. Pretty rad, Iknow.) I text Dale.

Dale gets my text right away Dude,Ive been set up by someone in class. Find out who it is, and comeand get me at break.

You guys gotta know that someone whospends half his life with a camera up to his eye just lovessticking his nose in other peoples business. So Dales superexcited cause I just made him a real live spy! And he totally getsinto it, checking everybody out, listening in on people, peekinginto their desks and all.

Maybe its Mitch? No, toostupid.

Maybe Gerald Snider, always sosecretive?

Or maybe its the most unlikelysuspect of all Robyn! Dale confronts her, but she says no way!Why would she set me up? She doesnt want anything to do with me!(Ouch!)

Then an announcement comes over theP.A. system that everybody should be on the look-out forme! Even the cops are looking for me now.

Suddenly, Robyn changes her tune.Seems me being a real fugitive turns her on! (Guess I shouldvetried this before.)

Chapter 5

Dale finds me at break. Doesnt knowwho set me up but says someone else is on the prowl for me Tammy.Great. This is her dream come true, her older brother in realtrouble. Now I gotta keep a lookout for her too.

I figure I gotta do the snooping formyself. So I make it to my classroom while everybodys at break.Start to snoop. Times flying by, Im finding nothing. Then I endup at Geralds desk you remember, the brainy kid. All I findinside his desk are a bunch of crumpled candy wrappers.
