I'd like to publicly thank Chelsea Miller for her help on this book from start to finish.
Chelsea originally joined Self-Publishing School at the age of 20 while still going to college. After joining, she wrote and launched her first book, Imperfectly Perfect . She excelled, becoming one of our top students, and eventually joined the SPS team as a coach for the program.
Chelsea helped with the launches of my last 3 books: Breaking Out of A Broken System , Productivity Hacks For Entrepreneurs and Book Launch . She's done AMAZING work on each one.
For this book, she helped with the writing and compiling of the book as well as the launch, from start to finish.
Chelsea, thank you for your continued hard work & dedication to helping people through these books and through Self-Publishing School ! We couldn't have done this book (or our past book launches) without your help.

Can You Be the Exception?
How You Can Be One of the Few That Actually Finishes Writing a Book and Do It In Record Time
You picked up this book because you want to write one yourself, but you HATE writing and suck at it. Not to mention, you just don't have the time to spend months trying to write the perfect book.
Writing has sucked for you for your whole life. You have never been good at it, and you know you could never enjoy it.
Every time you start to write ANYTHING it's like all of your ideas disappear.
You know the drill.
You get ready for a day of writing. You're pumped and think this will be the day all of your great ideas are going to flood the page.
Then ...
You find yourself staring at a blank screen. You have no idea what you want to write about. After some time, you just want to bang your head against the keyboard.
You have no idea where to start.
By this point you are too frustrated and discouraged to want to write a page, much less an entire book.
You could barely finish a 5-page paper in high school or college, so you think a book is just out of the question.
Since you've picked up this book, it's safe for me to make the assumption that you have at least some desire to write a book. Even with this desire, my gut tells me you're not totally sold on it.
Not only do you see it as a hard, nearly impossible feat, but you're not sure how you would complete the process, or even start for that matter.
That's why I'm going to spend a little time "selling" you on all the benefits that come from writing a book. This will make the resistance you feel later in the process a little easier to handle.
So, why would you want to write a book anyway?
I'm glad you asked.
There are TONS of benefits that you will continue to reap forever after writing your first book and a book will completely change your lifein more ways than one.
As cliche as it sounds, it's 100% true. You name it, and a book will open that door for you.
With one simple click in Amazon, you can attract people to your book, make sales, and grow your income (or your business if you have/want one). You will be getting free exposure just by having a book in Amazon.
This means you will have clients that want to do business with you before you even talk to them for the first time.
This also means you will be making passive income from your book. Just by living your normal daily life, you will be getting paid for doing everything you would be doing anyways.
Just in case you need a little more convincinga book will be the reason the people you love will look up to you.
To me, nothing is better than that. Your parents, friends, and co-workers will all admire you for being an author.
Most importantly, you will have overcome a huge challenge in your life. There will be no more excuses for you. You will have won and proved everyone wrong who told you that you couldn't succeed.
I used to hate writing, and you will see in this book that I never have claimed to be good at it, but I've found and created ways to write books that make it easy for me to be successful.
If someone would have told me 5 years ago that I would own a business that guided everyday people through writing, marketing, and publishing books, I would have told them they were insane.
At that point in time I was a kid who made Cs on all of his college essays and hated every minute of writing them. I could never fathom being a 4-time best-selling author.
But I achieved all of those goals because I knew I had a lot of information I wanted to get out to others.
When I wrote my first book, it was a complete game changer for me. It was less than 50 pages, and I went from idea to bestseller in 2.5 months. The book brought in $6,639 in the first month while I traveled and snowboarded throughout all of Europe and continues to bring in $2,000$5,000/month in passive income.
Since then, my books have helped me get press and publicity (in major sites, newspapers, the radio, etc.), build a following, and build a 6- (soon to be 7-) figure business.
And it all started by writing my first book.
That's the kind of thing you don't forget. It's an unforgettable experience that I want you to havemaking money while you sleep, snowboard, or do whatever you loveall while having your book purchased and read by people all around the world.
Before writing my first book, I was stuck with the problem of hating writing just like you, but, like me, you don't have to be stuck there forever.
A recent New York Times study said that 81 percent of people want to write a book. 81 percent! That's a crazy number.
But only 1 percent of people actually write and publish their books.
Why is there such a disparity here?
Why do 81 percent of people want to write a book, but only 1 percent of people actually follow through and do it?
You really want know why?
It's because there are TONS of myths, misconceptions, and flat-out lies out there about how difficult it is to write your first book.
I'm going to bust those myths and challenge everything you've been told about writing right now.
This book is filled with solutions, options, and problem-solving methods that every first-time author needs to knowno matter what writing challenges you face.
I will lay down the foundation for writing a book through 4 tried and true writing methods that will be applicable to anyone's writing journey.
Not only that, but I am going to get you in the "writing habit" in no time at all.
