Contents
Preface
It is my sincerest hope to be of assistance to you. My hope is to keep you warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer and to help you design and live in the home of your dreams. I also hope to save you thousands of dollars each year.
I will use the word home for the place where you live. It does not matter if you live in a one-room apartment or a one-hundred-room mansionthis book is for you. The changes shown to you in this book will allow you to reduce your energy usage and increase your savings by at least, on average, 30 percent.
I will show you the small changes you can make today and how to plan the renovation of your entire home. This book includes many energy-and money-saving ideas that you can implement at no cost.
I provide you with a host of resources that are available for free. You will be able to get more information about your home projects, green technology, or climate change.
This brings us to my final subject: You can improve your life while saving the world. While this idea may sound outlandish, it is true. For the first time in history, you can be a superhero (costume optional). How is this possible? You will need to read on.
My hope is that together we can improve your life and help you to save a significant portion of your income. The added benefit of your actions will be a better world tomorrow for the children of today. Please send me your ideas and comments at HEA@exploresynergy.org .
