N ative American culture in the United States is known for its wide variety of lifestyles, art forms, and beliefs. The indigenous culture of North America is generally defined as an area of pre-Columbian culture, that is, a geographical area where cultures are shared. The growing area of the northwest, for example, shared common characteristics such as hunt, fishing, carpentry, large villages, social structure and others.

Although cultural characteristics, clothing, language, and similarities vary widely from tribe to tribe, certain elements are commonly encountered and shared by many tribes. Early European Americans described Native Americans as a clan-dominated society.

The European colonization of America had a great influence on the culture of the Native Americans through the so-called Colombian exchange. The Colombian Exchange, also known as the Colombian Exchange, was the widespread transfer of plants, animals, culture, human populations, technologies, and ideas between America and the Old World on the 15th, 1492. The Colombian exchanges generally affected Native American culture via various illnesses and a "culture clash," causing European family and work values to lead to conflict, the appropriation of common land, tradition, and slavery.

When these natives met and traded with European explorers in the early years, they traded food, handicrafts and furs, horses, iron, steel implements, jewelry, firearms, etc.

Native Americans used various herbs to heal injuries from various diseases, both in adults and children, when it comes to herbal medicine. With the increase in illnesses and ailments, it is sometimes not enough to just turn to medicine. Some of the treatments can be tedious, stressful, and exacerbate an already depressed state. The use of herbal medicines as a kind of treatment is considered almost normal in non-industrialized countries.

Herbs are used in medicine. Naturopathy refers to any kind of natural remedy that is utilized to aid healing. Although most herbal remedies come from plants, they are minerals or animal sources that treat illnesses.

People have used herbs to heal all kinds of illnesses for hundreds of years. Throughout history, everyone can find stories and scenarios of the use of herbal remedies. On some old walls, hieroglyphs depict the use of herbs.

Nowadays, many people use herbal remedies to heal everything starting from headaches to skin problems to flues. You can find an herbal remedy for almost any disease. There are also herbal solutions that are also used to prevent many kinds of diseases. Doctors are also advocating more natural remedies. There are additional specific medical courses that provide information about herbal cures and how to use them. A naturopath is a licensed doctor who has completed a degree in traditional medicine and has additional training in natural healing philosophy and methods. Physicians for naturopathy and are licensed and recognized in several states in the US.

Herbalists know how herbs work in treating certain diseases in your body. The body is a kind of little ecosystem and everything is perfectly balanced, and if any part of the body is out of whack, herbs are here to rebalance it.

Herbal remedies are generally gentler than traditional drugs and have lower risks and unwanted effects; they are safe when used properly. The body can become resistant to some drugs, such as antibiotics, with excessive use. Remedies help treat illnesses that are that big and serious.

Native Americans have a traditional diet derived from a mix of farming, hunting, and wildlife gathering. By 800 AD, Native Americans built three main cultures: beans, squash, and corn, known as the holy trinity.

Agriculture in other regions began about 4,000 years ago when merchants brought grain from Mexico. Due to the changeable climate, it took some consistency for agriculture to be a famous branch for its culture.

There are many ways to use herbs as effective treatments and there are hundreds of herbs used by Native Americans; and you are lucky because we have a huge list with them further in this eBook.

But before seeing that list, lets see the first things first.

W ild herbs are herbs collected directly in nature in a natural form, such as forests, fields, and vacant land, for food or medicine. They are not degraded by chemicals such as pesticides and similar. This method of collecting herbs has been used throughout Native American history and other cultures too. Commercially or conventionally grown plants are grown on non-organic farms. Fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides are used for the prevention of their growth and increasing it more properly. There these products have regulations associated with quality and many of them are synthetic. Some plants can be genetically modified (GMO), too and this is dangerous. All of these can help the agricultures produce larger and wider varieties of herbs, but there is one downside.
