The Most Simple Way to Create a Fairy Garden is a text that gives the reader a basic overview of what needs to be done to create a magical garden. To some a magical garden involves the inclusion of all the elements while to others it simply means putting in brightly colored flowers and having some well placed fairy ornaments and lights to create that magical look. The author is well aware that gardening is not for everyone but has shown with this text that it can easily be done by anyone. With the convenience of garden outlets that have plants ready to plane and ornaments ready to select it is not that difficult to get that perfect garden anymore. One simply has to plant and maintain. Gardening is a great way to relieve stress and the end result can be shared with others. This book shows how you can get the process started. About the Author: Marie St. Claire has loved gardening ever since she learned what one was as a toddler and she spent a lot of time with her mother Elizabeth who did gardening as a hobby. From her mother she learned how to make a flower garden for the beauty of it, a vegetable garden for the self sufficiency and she also learned how to make those whimsical gardens filled with brightly colored flowers and strategically placed fairies, gnomes and other ornaments. She carried this hobby into her adult life and made it her point of duty to share this hobby with as many interested persons that she could find. Stemming from this she also made the decision to create a book that would give a bit more information on gardening and what someone would need to create a great whimsical, magical garden.

Amagical garden can be many things. Planting an elemental garden, connecting tothe four elementals can be magical. Earth is the feminine element, whichconnects us to the cycle of birth, life and death and is the northern element. The colors green and brown connect to the earth element. The air element is thesoul and the breath of life, the colors associated with air are yellow andwhite, and air is of the East. Fire is the masculine energy element connectedto the colors red and orange as well as the south. Water, the final element isfeminine and associated with healing and emotion. Water is of the west, and theassociated color is blue. Imagine a magical garden with all the elements andcolors aligned with the points of the compass.

AGoddess garden would be a magical choice for a garden. Depending on yourspiritual beliefs, a garden could honor a Goddess of your choice. You may wantto do some in depth reading about your goddess of choice, researching whichelement she is associated with. If she is an air element you might want to hangwind chimes in the area you have dedicated to her. If she is a Goddessassociated with water, you could place a small statue of her close to a smallgarden pond. In your Goddess garden, you can plant flowers associated with thespirit of your Goddess. If you choose to honor a Goddess of the harvest, forexample, you may want to plant some fall blooming flowers. In addition to theflowers in your Goddess garden, you can place beautiful crystals and stones.

Flowershave been associated with magic for hundreds of years. You can plant a magicalgarden full of flowers that have magical powers. The lily, for example, isassociated with fertility and rebirth. The leaf of the dandelion is used forhealing. For positive change in your life, plant dandelions in the northwestcorner of your garden. Narcissus, when planted in your garden can bring calmand peace. Chamomile flowers can be brewed into tea to calm the soul and easethe spirit. To create a wonderful magical flower garden, read about theproperties of flowers and plant the ones that you want to bring magic into yourlife.

Youcan create a magical garden with herbs. Herbs have so many varied properties, and you will want to read and learn about the special healing herbs for mindand body. Lavender, which is so pretty and has a wonderful aroma, can be usedfor depression. For friendship, your choices would be lemon, vanillaor orange. Your magical garden could include all the flowers associated withlove and healing. This would be a delightful place to invite friends to sit andenjoy the sweetness and magical aromas of this beautiful garden.

Anotheroption for a magical garden would be a moon garden. There are several plantsthat bloom at night. If you put your night garden near the window where yousleep you can enjoy the wonderful aroma that fills the night air when thesedelightful flowers open their petals to the moonlight. Some of the varietiesthat you can choose from include, are the moonflower, a beautiful white flower,a cousin of the morning glory, which has flowers that open as wide as sixinches at night.
