About the author

Mark Walker has been an SAP technical consultant for over 16 years, starting with ERP, in the ABAP programming area, where he specialized in bespoke programming and optimization. Next up came the BW Business Intelligence platform, again specializing in hard-to-implement solutions, especially in the SEM-BPS and BI-IP (integrated planningor how to write user data into a cube) modules. He's been working with SAP HANA since 2011 just after it was released, and is a certified Application Associate on HANA since early 2012.

With 15 years spent on SAP platforms, he started with ERP, in the ABAP programming area, then rapidly moved to architecture and system administration. With a strong expertise on BW and BusinessObjects platform, he had the chance to run the first HANA proof-of-concept in France for a large account in Utilities in early 2011 during the ramp-up phase of the product. William is now heading the BI & EPM consulting company BMB Services, addressing all industries on In-Memory technologies. He is a certified Application Associate on HANA since early 2012.

Stphane PARISIS has 13 years of experience in controlling, reporting, and budget planning, in the industry, media, consumer goods, utilities, and public sectors. He is a SAP expert in controlling areas with cross understanding of financial impacts on the other SAP related modules (SD/MM/PP), SAP BI / BusinessObjects, and the EPM implementation manager. He is also SAP certified.

He works for BMB services, which is a BI & EPM consulting company, specializing in functional business requirements and program management.
