Rocco Rocky Arico, a violent drug trafficker whose only record of employment was a short stint making pizzas in his familys restaurant. He is currently serving a sentence for drug trafficking and extortion and his earliest release date is 2024, at which time he will be deported from Australia to his native home of Italy. Rocco was the first person Tommy Ivanovic called from his cell after Matty had bashed Carl to death. The police suspected Rockys involvement in this hit.

Christopher Badness Binse, a former stick-up man and a despised figure among inmates, Binse became a snitch in juvenile detention and was frequently counselled on his sexually predatory nature as a youth. Senior staff at the Ararat prison where Binse was housed say he was known as the Cat from Ararat, a reference to him selling his body for cigarettes and other canteen provisions.

Greg Bluey Brazel, a convicted serial killer, arsonist and armed robber currently serving three consecutive life sentences for the murder of two prostitutes. On 1 October 1998 he was set upon in the Acacia Unit by Matty Johnson, Sean Sonnet and one other prisoner, who were armed with a sandwich maker, an exercise bike seat and a vacuum cleaner extension pole. He almost died from this assault.

Rodney The Duke Collins, also known as Rod, a notorious hitman serving jail time for the 1987 murders of Ray and Dorothy Abbey at their Heidelberg West home in Melbourne. He was suspected of having killed at least seven other people, including Mario Condello, and Terry and Christine Hodson. He died of cancer in Barwon Prison in 2018, at the age of 72.
Mario Condello, ItalianAustralian former lawyer and acting head of the Carlton Crew while Mick Gatto was serving time. In 2005 he was charged with conspiring to murder Carl Williams. He was shot dead by Rodney Collins in 2006, a day before his trial for conspiracy to murder Carl commenced. Mick Gatto was a pallbearer at his funeral.
Paul Dale, former drug squad detective charged with the murders of Terry and Christine Hodson. After the death of Carl, a Crown witness in the case, this charge was dropped. Dale has always denied any involvement with the Hodson murders.

Zarah Garde-Wilson, a solicitor who represented many Melbourne gang members. She was the girlfriend of organised crime figure Lewis Caine, who was killed by Ange Goussis.
Mick The Don Gatto, an ItalianAustralian businessman named as a standover man in the 2001 Royal Commission into the Building and Construction Industry. In 2004 he was charged with murder over the killing of Andrew Veniamin but was acquitted on grounds of self-defence. He featured heavily in the Underbelly series and in 2009 he released his biography, I, Mick Gatto.
Nicola Gobbo, a former Melbourne barrister who represented criminals but also informed on them for Victoria Police until 2010. She represented Tony Mokbel and Carl Williams in the early 2000s, and received a death threat in 2003 after representing Lewis Moran, one of Carls rivals.
Beau Goddard, the half-brother of St Kilda star Brendon Goddard, was jailed for at least nine years in 2007 for heroin supply. In her memoir, Roberta Williams: My life, Roberta describes Beau as a great friend, who had previously spent time in jail with Tommy Ivanovic.

Evangelos Ange Goussis, a former boxer and associate of career criminal and enforcer Nik Radev, convicted of murdering Lewis Moran and Lewis Caine in 2004 and sentenced to life imprisonment. He was also charged with the 2003 murder of Shane Chartres-Abbott in August 2012 but acquitted.
Daniel Danny Heaney, a friend of Carls, was sentenced in 1984 to thirteen years jail for nine armed robberies; in 2004 he was sentenced for nine years with a minimum of six years for stabbing a woman.

Highchairsee Mick Gatto. Carls nickname for Mick Gatto, based on Carls perception that Gatto should come down from his highchair; Carl believed that Gatto was always putting him down in a derogatory fashion.
Bill Chinaman Ho was convicted of shooting two men, one of whom was killed, while collecting a drug debt and was sentenced to 22 years in prison with a non-parole period of nineteen years. He spent a considerable number of years in management units.
