In Safe Hands

By Cassidy Ryan

The first time I saw him swimming naked it was quite by accident.

Id come to Wellspring, the family estate, for the weekend, and as head of my security detail, he came too.

It wasnt quite five in the morning, but Id already been tossing and turning in bed for nearly an hour, the summer heat heavy and oppressive. With an annoyed sigh, I pushed aside the single sheet covering me, got out of bed and walked to the window. Outside the grass and leaves on the trees were swaying gently. I opened the window and a soft breeze cooled the sweat that dampened the T-shirt I was wearing, eliciting another sigh, this one pure pleasure.

My toes curled into the carpet as I imagined the feeling of dew damp grass under my bare feet. I wanted to be out there more than anything right then, but I didnt want to be accompanied by any of the Secret Service agents currently on duty.

Shedding the old shirt and boxers Id been sleeping in, I pulled on a pair of cut-offs and a clean shirt, scrubbed a hand through my hair and left the room.

Hi, Larry, Im just going down to the kitchen for a cold drink. Cant sleep in this damn heat. The agent stationed at the end of the hallway simply nodded as I passed him.

I told a similar white lie to the two agents on duty downstairs as I headed for the narrow hallway that led to the kitchen. But instead of entering the kitchen I slipped into a utility room just beyond it, pulled back a panel in the wall and eased through a small gap that had, once upon a time, been a hole for coal delivery. It was shielded from view on the outside by a thick hedge, so I hugged the wall and only emerged when I was sure that I would be unobserved. I knew that I wasnt placing myself or anyone else in danger by slipping out on my own for a while -- my father was home, and when the President was in residence, the estate as a whole was locked down securely.

The damp grass did indeed feel blissful under my feet, and the breeze was like a caress on my skin as I strolled through a copse of white oaks, drawn to the whispering rush of the river that cut through the estate.

I was just about to emerge from the trees when a splashing sound caught my attention. Stopping, concealed behind a stout oak, I scanned the stretch of water visible to me, and thats when I saw him.

In clothes, John Kinsey was a sight to behold. When he had been introduced to me as head of my security detail, he had been sitting on the back of a black motorcycle, kitted out in black leather. Hed removed his helmet and scrubbed a hand through close-cut hair as dark and glossy as the surface of the bike, and I had been certain I had never seen a more beautiful sight in my life.

The next time I saw him, he had been wearing the rather severe dark suit common to Secret Service agents, but that was all that was common about the man. He stood over six foot tall with a tight physique the suit did nothing to hide, and had a sculpted bone structure and olive-toned skin that hinted at Native American blood somewhere in his lineage.

Seeing Kinsey out of clothes was practically a religious experience. Bronzed skin stretched taut over muscle and sinew honed to perfection, he moved with all the elegance of a big cat or, at that moment as he cut through the water, the most graceful of sea creatures.

My first thought was to leave, to give him the privacy he clearly thought he would have at that hour of the morning, but the message didnt reach my feet. I stayed right there, hidden by the tree, and looked my fill. Heat more intense than the climate flushed my skin and I squeezed my thighs together when my cock started to throb.

Over the years Id grown accustomed to having an extra shadow, a silent presence at my side. I got so used to it that, after a while, I barely even noticed anymore. That had ended three months ago with John Kinsey. There wasnt a second that passed that I wasnt aware of him beside me: the body heat he emitted, the kinetic energy that always seemed to surround him, even when he was at rest. When he was with me, the air between us seemed to thrum, like an electrical connection. When he was off duty, I missed him, craved his nearness.

Watching him swim now, body glistening and slick as he dipped under the surface only to break back through with an arcing spray of water, I realized that I craved him, pure and simple. But there was nothing pure about the sensations invading my body.

My breaths were coming in increasingly shallow pants, pulse uncomfortably fast. I squeezed my thighs together again and bit back a moan at the pleasure that darted through me, hardening my nipples and making my mouth dry.

When Kinsey emerged from the river, water streaming down his hard body, the need to touch was so strong that I actually took a step forward before I realized what I was doing. His chin came up and I recognized the vigilance in the slight tilt of his head. Knowing that it would only be seconds before he found me, I stepped back into the shadow of the trees as quietly as I could, and once satisfied that I hadnt been discovered, I fled back in the direction of the house.

Standing under a cool shower I let my hands roam over my body, pinching my nipples, squeezing my dick. With my eyes closed I could almost imagine that it was Kinseys hands on me.

***

It was heat of a distinctly carnal nature that had me tossing and turning that night, and when I found myself at the river at four-thirty the next morning, I didnt even try to convince myself that it was wrong to be effectively spying on the man during the brief period of privacy he was granted.

Tucking myself behind the same tree as before, I waited, stomach churning with hope and anticipation. It felt like forever, but was probably more like ten minutes before he appeared. I sucked in a breath at the sight of him and pressed closer to the tree.

When he started to strip off his jeans and T-shirt, I felt a small stab of guilt at my intrusion, but the feeling was swept away when he stood naked, stretching his arms over his head. The muscles of his stomach and chest rippled with the action and a shiver of desire ran through me. I lowered my eyes, fingers twitching as my gaze followed the thin line of hair that ran from just under his belly button down to a tangle of thick, dark pubic hair and the lax cock nestled there.

Oh, God, I wanted him so badly. I wanted to wrap my hand around his cock and bring it to life, sink to my knees in front of him and use my lips and tongue to make him groan and plead.

My cock, already half-hard with anticipation, swelled and pushed against the front of my jeans at the thought and I pressed a hand against it, suppressing a whimper. My eyes were riveted to him, fixed on every flex of muscle, every dip and shadow of his body as he stepped up to the edge of the river bank, bounced a couple of times on his toes and launched himself into the water, breaking the surface smoothly.

I waited, breath held, until he came up again, shaking droplets of water from his hair like a dog, a wide grin splitting his handsome face. I dont think Id ever seen him smile so openly. It sent a shiver through my body and my bare toes curled into the morning damp grass.
