Title Page THE GREATEST GENERAL KNOWLEDGE QUIZ BOOK 250 Questions on General Knowledge Compiled by Chris Cowlin Foreword by Gary Mabbutt MBE Publisher Information First published in 2011 by Apex Publishing Ltd PO Box 7086, Clacton on Sea, Essex, CO15 5WN, England www.apexpublishing.co.uk Digital Edition converted and distributed in 2011 by Andrews UK Limited www.andrewsuk.com Copyright 2011 by Chris Cowlin The author has asserted his moral rights All rights reserved. Cover designed by Siobhan Smith Foreword By Gary Mabbutt MBE I was delighted when I found out that Chris Cowlin was compiling The Greatest General Knowledge Quiz Book, the proceeds of which are being generously donated to charity. It is a fantastic opportunity for readers to put their general knowledge to the test whilst at the same time raising money for a good cause and a charity that is close to my heart. Do you know which goalkeeper holds the record for winning the most caps for England, the name of the artist who created Campbells Soup Cans or how many yellow stars are there on the national flag of China? The answers to these and many more fascinating questions can all be found inside these pages.

A quiz book is something that the whole family can get involved and have fun with. This book has sections on popular culture and sport (including my own specialist subject - football) alongside the traditional topics of history, geography and science, so there is something for everyone, no matter how young or old. Just how much can you remember from your school days? (Were you paying attention in that particular history lesson?) Will your children outperform you? I wish Chris all the best with this book, I have seen other books he has compiled and he does very well by compiling a mixture of easy, medium and hard questions in them, so it makes it great fun for all the family. I am sure that it will prove to be a great success and raise lots of money for a well-deserved cause.
