Prague is an excellent city for walking, but watch out for the cobble stones and narrow streets! Most of the important sights are confined to a small area within the center of the city. You'll be able to see a majority of the main attractions even if you're short on time.

90-Minute Walk: "The Royal Route"
From the former Royal Court, once situated on the site of the .
This walk mimics the path of Bohemian kings and queens during the coronation procession. It also covers some of Prague's best attractions, with a variety of historical, architectural and entertaining sights right in the city center.
Start at the on your left, an intriguing cubist building designed by Josef Gocr. This building really gives character to the neighborhood and is one of the first examples of cubist architecture in Prague.
Continue walking to the end of , which dates back to the 14th century, is one of the finest churches in the city and the most dominant feature of the Old Town district.
Proceed further to find the is mounted onto the southern wall of the building. Just look up - you can't miss it.
Further along, you will find yourself in Mal namesti. A bit to your left is Karlova Street, full of pleasant galleries that may be worth a visit. Walk down to the .
Once you go all the way down Karlova Street you will hit the Bridge Tower may be worth a climb up to see another great view of the city.

On the opposite end of the bridge, continue your walk along Mosteck Street. At the end of this street, you will reach is located here, an impressive Baroque church with paintings, sculptures and frescoes that are worth taking a look at. Here, you can imagine the procession passing the church as the bells chimed in celebration.

Some of the areas require you to buy a ticket for entrance. You can buy one of two combined tickets as well. The short tour allows entrance to the Old Royal Palace, .
