Introduction

We wont keep you long - youre bound to want to dive straight into the quiz. So all we want to do in this brief introduction is to explain a couple of rules we stuck to when writing the quiz. Firstly, we use the words story, serial and episode rather interchangeably; however as a general rule, episode refers to new Who (i.e. from the ninth Doctor onwards), whereas serial refers to the first batch of Doctors. Story essentially means either an episode or serial. Companion generally refers to a Doctors sidekick who has travelled in the TARDIS with him. Monster usually means any alien race encountered, and in this quiz they are mostly - but not always - enemies. Hopefully that clarifies things for you... although all but the most pedantic fan should be able to figure most of this out as you go!

We hope you enjoy this quiz as much as we did whilst writing it. Good luck!
