This pattern can be made using anyyarn you wish. Choose a hook size that matches the yarn. I haveused:

• No 2 yarn(Sport, Baby): Catania yarn from Schachenmayr SMC (cream, brown,light purple, red, yellow, orange, pink, green, blue, whiteand
  dark pink);

• 3.00 mmhook;

• Red embroideryfloss;

• Polyesterfiberfill;

• Eighteen 5 mmblack beads for eyes or other eyes as desired;

• Tapestryneedle;

• Sewing needleand thread for attaching eyes;

• Pins.

The Fairies are 2.5 inches/ 6.3 cm high.

This project is working in continuousrounds, do not join or turn unless otherwise stated. Mark firststitch of each round.

Fairies havesame basic patterns; Legs, Arms Head, Body and Wings.

Make 2 for each Fairy.

Rnd 1:With cream (skin color), ch 2, 6 sc in second chain fromhook. (6)
Rnd 2: (Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) around. (9)
Rnd 3: Sc in each st around. (9)
Rnd 4: Sc in each st around, join with sl st in first st.Fasten off. (9)

Rnd 1: With green (dress color), Holdlegs together with upper inner thighs together. Insert hook in thecenter on innermost thigh of first leg, pull out the loop fromsecond leg, sc in same st (do not count this st just forconnecting legs together), sc in next 8 sts on second leg (markfirst st), sc in next 8 sts on first leg. Skirt:

Rnd 1: Working in front loops of round 2 of thebody and the opening pointed towards you. With green (skirtcolor), join with sl st, ch 1, sc in same st, sc in each staround. (18)

Cap:
