A s with each book in this series, I would like to first and foremost dedicate this to the Goddess of Witches. She is my constant companion and my truest friend. Following her led me to explore the greatest mysteries of my life and I have no doubt she has many more for me. I also need to thank the God of Witches. Though he doesnt make as large of a footprint in these pages as she, none of this would have been possible without his intercession. It is by he that I was able to bring this final work to life. I lift this entire series to them as an offering of my devotion. May they always reign!

To my beloved Sacred Fires and Black Rose communities. It is for them that I strive to be better and grow, and by their light I am able to do so. Though I share some of our mysteries here, know that those we personally share shall last forever. I will see you where the Magister awaits, somewhere in the circle betwixt the stones.

W hat is a witch? Its a tricky label. For some people, witchcraft is a religion. If you worship the old gods and follow a religion like Wicca, then for these people you are a witch. Other people focus on the craft part of witchcraft and consider the use of folk magic as the defining characteristic of a witch. If you know the magical properties of herbs, the words of spells, and the use of oils and candles and stones, then you are a witch.
