Preface
These stories have been written in the first person to bring the reader into an investigation on a more personal level. Each story, however, has been a joint writing effort between the authors.
The authors second book continues to break through the myths and legends to find the truth. Join them on their ghost hunts as they share firsthand accounts of the investigation and haunted history of each location, always with a skeptics eye .
History plays an important part of each investigation. If past events or people can be tied in with the evidence collected, it makes the experience that much more rewarding. History tends to validate what is collected during an investigation.
The authors experiences will sometimes be funny, sometimes thought-provoking and sometimes chilling. The stories and evidence revealed in this book and Web site will be true, unaltered and accurate. Youll see it and hear it just as we did (audio adjustments may be made for clarity). Ultimately, whether or not a location is haunted will be your decision.
Enjoy this book by itself or online for a complete interactive book/Web experience. You will be able to hear the electronic voice phenomenon (EVP), see up-close the unusual photographic and video evidence, listen to behind-the-scene activities, interviews and more as you follow along in the book.
The journey into the unknown continues.
Story Secret Rooms
How to Use Our Interactive Web site
www.HauntedTravelsMI.com
To help bring you into each story, we have established a Web site, www.HauntedTravelsMI.com, with a Secret Room for each story. This Secret Room will include audio, video, and full color photographic evidence. It will also have some behind-the-scene video clips and/or photographs of what happened during the investigation.
Secret Rooms are Password Protected
Each story has a secret password that will unlock the room. You must enter a separate password for each Secret Room.
High Speed Internet Recommended
Because the file size for some videos, photos, and audio clips are large, for best results, you should have a broadband or high speed Internet connection. You can use dial-up, but youll need patience.

Investigative Team:
Mid Michigan Paranormal Investigators
Our story of Hollys Main Street Antiques began as a standard paranormal investigation but quickly turned into something we had not anticipated. It would bring us into a world we had never seen nor want to again. The memories of what happened that night will remain with us a very long time.
A few weeks before the investigation, a gentle young mother and wife, Mari-Lynn, contacted Matt and Melanie Moyer from Mid Michigan Paranormal Investigators. She needed their help.
Mari-Lynn and Mark
Mari and her husband, Mark, own an antiques shop in Historic Holly. Her strange and unsettled visions began the minute she moved into her husbands home and began working at the antiques shop. At first it centered on the unusual disappearance of keys at the shop. From there it escalated. An antique or other object would fly off a shelf. Next came apparitions.
One of the first was in the antiques shop. It was a man dressed in a turn-of-the-century gray suit with a mustache, top hat and cane. He appeared so real that Mari thought he was a customer and asked if she could help him. As she approached, he disappeared.
Yet another was seen on the main floor. Mari described it as the image of a man without a head, hurling himself about as though on fire.
With time, different visions began appearing, becoming more frequent and erratic. The most terrifying was that of a half-lizard, half-human creature. She found it huddled in the basement of the shop. Scaled and reptilian shaped, it had human legs and arms. Seeming to be startled, it pulled human hands from its face and looked up. The eyes that met Maris were large, wide and very human, but its face was that of a lizard. It was gone in the blink of an eye.
