The Devils Tithe is a book that comes to change your understanding about faith and finances. It is not about being pro or against the ways tithes are shown in the Old Testament. It is not even about believing or not in the devil or being a member of a specific church. The book comes with a new concept that can bring you life-altering financial results, which you must know.

Introduction
By working as a speaker and as a financial coach for over tenyears, I received from the Lord a disclosure that has changedmy financial life and the way I understand the church, the tithes, the stock market and the use of loans by those who serveGod.

That revelation came to me in a way that I called Thedevils tithe. This is not a Biblical expression but just a way tounderstand how the devil enslaves, steals and killsnowadays.

I hope this revelation, which was outlined here in 666 words, canmeaningfully change your lifestyle and also your commitment toGod.

The devils tithe in 666 words (from original text inPortuguese)
The word tithe means the tenth part of something. It is a Biblicalpractice of giving one tenth of personal income to support Godshouse of worship, for He made heaven and earth.

God does not need our money. Instead, we are the ones who need totithe. Tithing part of our money is a practice that educates usfinancially and makes our Christian community grow stronger.
Those who tithe are usually more satisfied with their financial life, showing to have more control of their spending and teach more aboutmoney to their kids. Before tithing, they calculate how much theywill give away and also plan on what they will do with what isleft.

The devil has also been using a system supported by financial resources,in which he intends to reduce our ability to manage things, lessenour opportunities to talk about money in the family and bring deepdissatisfaction into peoples lives.
But who is the devil? The Bible tells us about two of his maincharacteristics, which are his will of destruction and his high levelexpectations towards us. In the old covenant, while God askedpeople for sacrificing an animal, the devil would ask them for thesacrifice of a child.
While God asked His people part of their outcome, in order toeducate them financially, the devil would ask for a familymember, the one who was the main heir in the family, intending tokill an innocent child in fire and humiliate his parents, besides despising God, who has given us life.
Demanding money is not enough for the devil. He wants more: hewants to steal your life, lead you to commit crimes, end yourpeace, and destroy your relationship with God. His motto is: steal, kill and destroy.

Nowadays , thedevil gets his devastating results by leading us to take attitudesof disobedience, which are apparently innocent and what I calldebts. The devils invisible hand leads a baton, orchestratingpeoples insane desire of having more and more wealth and success, what are achieved through loans in the attempt of fulfilling ourlack of God and getting some affection and admiration fromothers.

Once we are indebted, we must pay interests. Sometimes ourcommitment towards debts and interests exceeds the amount thatcould be given as tithes.
When someone uses more than half of his income to pay for loans orinterests, or pays more than 10% of his income on interests,we can clearly see the devils invisible hand unbalancing hisfamily budget, which is what we call the devils tithe.
This is certainly the most common sin to humans at the present. Thecountries, the companies, the poor, the rich, the churches, theNGOs, they all have debts; there is no exception to the rule. Thatbecame their lifestyle. On the other hand, those who obey toApostle Pauls commandment owe no man any thing are not wasting their money oninterests.

Unfortunately, thousands of people became slaves to the financial system. They workas free people, but their income belong to others.
In Brazil, 42 % of the countrys budget was for the payment ofinterests and debt relief in 2014. That way, the amount paidon interests exceeds the investments ineducation.

Also, something similar happens to the families: almost half oftheir income is to pay debts. In the USA, it is expected that acitizen will pay around 600 thousand dollars on interests duringhis lifetime.
The devils tithe is a trap of modern life, where we are led tofinance things that we can not afford. As a result of having a tinybudget, we are unable to invest in what is really important, i.e.,people and relationships.
Governors have less money to invest in public health. Families haveless money to invest in relationships. We have more luxurious carsand less romantic dinners, more smartphones and less dialogue, more material thingsand less contact with people, more appearance and lessreality.
What we see here is the sad fulfillment of the Laodiceanprophecy.

Consuming things makes us feel rich.In fact, we do not understand that we are miserable slaves of asystem sponsored by the devil through the promotion of the sin ofdebt.
Do you have debts to pay off? Do you also contribute to the devilstithe?

Prologue
Banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties thanstanding armies
Thomas Jefferson
The Lord our God brings us life with joy and without debts, and Hekindly asks us to strengthen a system of blessings by giving thetenth part of our income away. These resources will bring provisionto His house of prayer, which is where we receive strength andlearning from. In other words, what we give comes back to us.
The devil offers us a life of immediate success throughout debts, which enslave and unbalance our family budget.
I have been working hard to promote an evangelistic crusade againstdebts. Our preaching has touched the heart of Brazilian pastors toget rid of all kinds of debts, starting from their churches.
In our seminars, we have introduced people to the No Debts Project(Projeto Dvida Zero), through which God has gotten lots of peopleout of debts, default and financial bondage. Many people whowere indebted are now being able to save money.
It is important to understand here that there is no way of havingan unbiased opinion on this subject. Your life, your time and yourmoney are to serve one of those systems, and you will be the onewho is going to decide which one you will serve.
The decision is yours. Now that you are aware of the devils tithe, your decision will be also a conscious one.
Have you decided yet?
Kind regards,

Pastor SamuelMarques
