It just seems right that I rededicate this new cookbooka blend of The Cowgirls Cookbook and Keep Cookin Cowgirl, plus lots of new pictures and recipes from my co-cowgirl in the kitchen, sister Robinto the two women who started me on this journey over twenty-five years ago on a pack trip up the Minam River to the Eagle Cap in the Wallowas of Eastern Oregon following our trip to the Pendleton Round-Up. That was the start of all the books, all the friends I have made because of the books, the enjoyment of the research of the old-time cowgirls, and an entirely new chapter in my life. SoJoanna Stewart and Joan Triplettthis is for you, cowgirls, again.

With love, Jill Charlotte Stanford And for me, it just seems absolutely right to dedicate my part of this cookbook to my sister and co-author, Jill. It is such an honor that she asked me to share this culinary adventure with her. Yes, we have had many adventures in the kitchen together over the years, and I know that we will in the future, but this was extra special and I have loved every minute of our collaboration. She is the real cowgirl after all in my eyes, and I am the happy sidekick going down this trail together. Robin Betty Johnson
