WHAT IS DOODLE ART?

Doodle Art is a relatively new form of art. It is a creative process that combines drawing and relaxation. Often described as yoga for the mind, it is a type of sketching that is suitable for everybody, even those who are not artistic or who have not done any kind of drawing for years.

In short, this is a process of creation and recreation of multiple repeating patterns and filling space with these patterns, combining them into various shapes and figures.

Doodle Art has rapidly increased in popularity over a relatively short time, and this is thought to be because it is incredibly easy and reaches out and changes many peoples lives. Everybody has inner creativity that has been lost amongst the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The small part of us that provides balance and calm, and releases our creative side, is smothered and in risk of dying completely. Doodle Art has reawakened this long forgotten trait, releasing an incredibly powerful well-being that has enriched many lives.

The concept of Doodle Art is very simple. It requires only a few materials, and there are no strict rules. Just take a pen and create whatever is on your mind. The Doodle Art method of creating patterns and recreating them is simple enough for all ages to follow.

This book has been written to explain the basic concepts you need to know and understand about Doodle Art. This is the ultimate handbook, as it covers everything from the creators:

  • What Doodle Art is and where it came from
  • What its purpose is and the benefits that can be gained from practicing the art
  • A huge number of patterns divided into lessons, from beginner to advanced level
  • Modern Doodle Art, its development, applications, and trends
  • How Doodle Art is being used as a form of therapy
  • Many Doodle Art works for your inspiration

The Doodle Art handbook will teach you all of the basic steps and techniques required to create your very own masterpieces. However, it doesnt stop at the basics; it takes you through the various levels in order to advance your skills. In addition, you will also get ideas on what you can do with your creations, so you can display them with pride.

You will see that Doodle Art can be far more than just a hobby; it can also be seen and considered as an exercise for your mind, which could possibly become as important as completing your daily physical exercises. Doodle Art is excellent for those going through conflicts, having trouble making difficult life changing decisions, as well as those suffering from illness. Doodle Art is also an excellent pastime for the elderly to keep their minds active after retirement.

Doodle Art is a creative and fun way to fight stress whilst using art, and it is also an entertaining way to pass the time, either individually or as part of a group. Start your Doodle Art today and see the great benefits you can share with those all around you.

The Doodle Art handbook is your fun companion that will guide you to the world of doodling and provide valuable information that will never go out of fashion.

Doodle Art Equipment

There are two different sets of tools that you need to create your Doodle Art - photo 4

There are two different sets of tools that you need to create your Doodle Art. The first set is the essentials that are recommended by the creators of Doodle Art, and the other set is needed when you are ready to get fancy with your own Doodle Art.

The essentials to get started are as follows:

Paper

If you prefer, you can use a sketch or notebook for your Doodle Art. This paper should be robust, so your pen doesnt bleed through and make a mess. Dont make the mistake of thinking you are limited to paper, as you can Doodle Art on almost anything, such as cups, stones, cards, fabrics, and anything else to which you can put pen! Paper is of a similar quality to a card and can be framed and will last a lifetime.

Pens

When Doodling, you should choose a pen that has a fine point, as this will make it possible for you to complete intricate and detailed designs. The recommended pen would be a Micron 0.1 or 0.05. Black pens are normally used for Doodle Art, but this is not an actual requirement; therefore, you may want to also purchase some coloured pens at the same time. If a Micron pen isnt an option, then you should look for a quick drying permanent pen; it needs to be quick drying in order to avoid any smudging.

Pencils

Although the majority of your Doodle Art will be created in permanent pen, meaning you cannot make any changes, pencils are useful for shading and creating the outlines for your Doodle Art. You could also use coloured pencils to fill in your Doodle Art for a very artistic finish.
