Dahrl Elizabeth Moore is university librarian at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton. She was awarded the Master in Library Science degree in 1980 from the University of South Florida. In 1986, she received the Master of Arts in History degree from Florida Atlantic University. As president of the Palm Beach County Genealogical Society (1993 to 1995; 1997 to 1999), she lectures in various genealogical subjects for the society's workshops and seminars. In 1997, she taught as adjunct faculty "Library Resources for Genealogical Research" for the University of South Florida Library and Information Science Program. Since 1974, Moore has done extensive genealogical research in the United States, England, and Scotland. In addition, during her tenure as chair of the Genealogical and Local History Caucus for the Florida Library Association in 1992, she compiled and published Historical and Genealogical Holdings in the State of Florida.
