Introduction
Accessories are fun and are often used to brighten up an outfit or to make a style statement, and what better way could there be than to create your own knitted bag. This book contains projects for all levels of knitters with simple knits through to more complicated ones, and covers a wide range of techniques including intarsia, Fair Isle, knitting with beads and sequins, and simple embroidery. Yarns and shapes have been chosen to ensure color and texture are used to full effect and, at times, the yarns are used double, triple and even quadruple. Knitted bags are a great chance to experiment and to take risks with color, which you might not normally take if you were knitting a garment. You might want to knit ? The great thing about all knitted bags is that they dont take too long to knit so theres no reason why you cant make your way through all 25 of my designs! I had great fun creating them and I hope youll have even more fun knitting them.

What some knitters find difficult, others find quite easy, so read the pattern before deciding whether or not to knit it.
A medley of different yarns, including tweed and mohair, are used in stripes and Fair Isle to create a subtle bag with a very delicate use of color. The soft mohair sits alongside the robust tweed to create a fabric that is tantalizing to the touch.SIZE 9in 7in (23cm 19cm), excluding handle
