Mahmoud Magdy is a senior architect with almost 10 years' experience in the IT field. He was a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional for 2010/2011/2012 (Exchange Server) and Symantec Backup Exec BExpert for 2012. He is also MCITP, CCA, CCAA, NetApp ASVP, and ITIL certified.

He comes from various consulting and operations backgrounds, as he has worked for various Microsoft/Citrix/NetApp partners, including Globalknowledge and Ingazat. He has also worked for various vendors and customers, including Microsoft and PalmHills Development. During the span of his career, he has been fortunate to work on projects for major customers in the region, implementing high-end, complex solutions.

Mahmoud has extensive experience in Microsoft/Citrix/Symantec/Netapp/EMC technologies, with a deep knowledge of UC (Exchange/Lync), virtualization, system center, and data center (storage and blades systems).

He is 38 years old, lives in the Netherlands, and is currently employed as an infrastructure architect for Logica (now part of CGI).
