Dedicated to my husband Andrew, our dog Frankie, and all the dogs in our lives

WE DONT DESERVE DOGS They are loyal companions that provide comfort - photo 6WE DONT DESERVE DOGS They are loyal companions that provide comfort - photo 7

WE DONT DESERVE DOGS. They are loyal companions that provide comfort, happiness, amusement, and a sense of calm we all need. They dont care if you didnt wash your hair or you ate a whole tray of brownies for breakfast. Dogs will always be there for you, even if it feels like the whole world is falling apart.

As an illustrator and a dog lover, I am constantly inspired by the joy and silliness dogs have brought into my life from my childhood French bulldog, Dwight, who scarfed down a burrito the size of a newborn baby without anyone noticing, to Buster, the rescue dog who came into our lives when we least expected it but needed it the most, to our current dog, Frankie, who brings us unlimited joy and balls. These dogs have not only inspired my artwork but also improved my emotional well-being.

I have dealt with anxiety my whole life. Although I have the tools to help me with my stress and worries, I always find that having a dog on my lap, licking my face and wagging their tail, helps me the most.

This book is filled with forty silly therapy dogs who think the world of you. These therapy dogs are here to give you affection, support, and comfort whenever you need it. They are here to pat you on the back and let you know that everything will be all right.
