INTRODUCTION

T he connection between magic and eroticism is an obvious one. They both encompass absolutely every sense. We lose and find ourselves in magic and love, if we are lucky. Love is the emotion behind the creation of life itself.

Magic, like love, can be mysterious in its appearance and manifestation. It can be graced by divine accident or calculated design. In affairs of the heart, many have looked to magic for a little help or assistance in this glorious domain. Herbs, oils, foods, and sacred chants were sought out as medicinal remedies to bolster fertility and potency. They were used as magical concoctions to conjure up divine love and passion.

For decades I have taught lectures on spirituality and led magic rituals for audiences numbering from two to two thousand. I am always sure to include a segment on sacred cleaning. Your mind and your space must be clear to attract the highest good into your life. Cleanliness is also important to the loving atmosphere you are trying to create. Trust meyou don't want to attract anyone or anything that is filthy or unclean. This book begins by exploring spells for self-love and happiness. These are at the root of your magical success. One of the most important questions I was ever asked during a possession ritual was What do you want? The words came from someone taken with the energy of an ancestor spirit, and they made me think. Our minds, bodies, and souls need to be truly in the right place for us to answer this question. Positive intent and visualization are vital components to successful manifestation. Very often when I do consultations for people about love magic and spellcrafting, they are, for lack of a better word, obsessed. It happens. They want what and whom they want, and they want them yesterday. Sometimes what they want is actually what is best for them in the situation, but more often than not, they are choosing a less desirable option because it is comfortable, familiar, or all they think they deserve. I usually recommend people do readings and cleansings first to make sure nothing is standing in the way of the love. Each situation is unique. I have one client who struggles with communication between her partner and herself. Each time she comes to me for a reading, we discover she needs a different tactic for success.
