Chapter 1 Personal Prayers in Keeping the Faith during Hard Times

H eavenly Father, you know my heart. Every decision I make, every step I take, I pray that You guide me as I walk through this dark valley of my life. I am nothing without You. My life is rooted in You. You are my anchor. You are my rock. As I embark on a new journey, help me find the way and do Your will for my life. I am confident that in Your perfect time, everything will fall into place. Your plans for me are greater; more than I can ever imagine.

Father, I pray that You help me get through this struggle and always keep me in Your loving embrace. I am tired, Father. But I know that I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Thank you for the renewed strength, Oh Lord. Teach me to always depend on You and You alone. This I pray in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

Prayer # 2

F ather, today I feel completely lost and do not know what to do next. My life is full of doubts and fears, and I am just tired of feeling so helpless. Father, I am emptying my cup and fully surrendering my life to You. I surrender my plans and cast all my fears and burdens upon You.

You are the author and perfecter of my faith. Help me carry what is burdening me at this moment. You are the only one who can cure the incurable. I am helpless, Father God. But I have Jesus in my life and I am confident that I will survive all these trials. Thank you for always reminding me that You are with me and that You will not leave me nor forsake me. Thank you, Father for bringing peace into my heart and for giving Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

Prayer #3

H eavenly Father, I pray with all sincerity that you heal my heart. I am broken. I am living in a cruel world. The people around me are easy to judge and quick to anger. I have been wrongly accused. But You know my heart, Lord. You know me too well. Help me get through this seemingly impossible situation. Take over of this circumstance, Lord. My legs feel unsteady, but I know that I have a big God. Bigger than any problems and definitely bigger and greater than this world. You started everything and You will finish what You have started.
