Each and every member loves the bricks in his or her own way. Some collect sets but never construct one. Others buy sets to build models they plan themselves, and there are even those who purchase only loose bricks and dont decide what theyre going to build until they have the pieces right in front of them. All LEGO fans, thoughwithout exceptionhave one thing in common: Each has one or more favorite themes. Some are passionate about trains; others love fantasy or the Middle Ages; many build only ships and galleons; and still others prefer Formula 1 or luxury, high-performance cars. There are those who use LEGO bricks to make relief maps.
Some even try to replicate the neighborhood or city where they live or are inspired by famous major cities to plan and build their own, giving free reign to their creativity. This particular community of LEGO fans has a serious problem: space. The bigger and more spread out their cities get, the more space they need to accommodate them. Once again, the imagination of the Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOL) has come to the rescue: the Microscale. Whats the Microscale? Its the equivalent of the microscale used for model trains. Its creating buildings, vehicles, etc., using the smallest LEGO pieces possible.
Thats what our friend Chanh Ngoc Truong has done: Hes planned a whole series of construction and emergency vehicles that can be used in the Microscale cities created by the AFOL. ABOUTTHE AUTHORSCHANH NGOC TRUONGChanh Ngoc Truong is a passionate fan and builder of LEGO constructions. Born in 1995 in Hanoi, Vietnam, where he lives to this day, he graduated from Hanoi Polytechnic University and moved on to advanced studies in 3-D modeling at the VTC Academy, an institute that provides training in subjects related to multimedia production. He indulges his passion for LEGO bricks by planning and constructing his own models, as seen in his earlier book, Military Vehicles: Build World War II Vehicles with LEGO Bricks. Thus the time comes to stock up on loose parts: bricks, wheels, windows, doors, and everything you need for your constructions. There are several ways to obtain the necessary parts and components for freestyle creation. For example, you can buy LEGO sets from the Classic line (https://shop.lego.com/en-US/Classic-Sets)boxes of parts and components that, when combined, make up a construction warehouse to draw from.
