New Horizons , the latest game in the long-running

Animal Crossing series, became a worldwide sensa -

tion when it was released for the Nintendo Switch in

early 2020. Animal Crossing isnt like other games.

Players dont compete with each other or work to

defeat enemies. The game isnt fast-paced or

focused on action. There is no way to win or lose.

Instead, Animal Crossing gives players a relaxing

environment to be creative, meet up with friends

online, and explore a virtual world.

Interested in trying Animal Crossing for yourself?

All you need is a Nintendo Switch and a copy of the

game. For certain in-game features to work correctly,

youll also need a wireless internet connection, but its

not required to get started.

When you start up the game for the first time,
