In The Beginning
There was nothing. Our Earth was young, and our Sun was still maturing. Together, the nebula they created would form their first Star. Rage fueled its core. This new galaxy was off to a rocky start.
There was a time when our Earth had to be far away from its Star, which created a dark hole that could never be closed. We needed more. The land from which the Star was created did not hold enough natural resources for it to grow. Earth and Sun had plans for their Star; but plans dont always go as expected. Our Earth had to cross an ocean. It was ready to do anything for its Star.
A new way of life had to be achieved. The old ways did not suffice. Out of the corners of the Universe, another Star was formed between our Earth and Sun. Financially, life was hard for our galaxy... for any galaxy.
What do we do when help is scarce? Our Sun was losing control of its surroundings. Dark spots appeared on its surface. Blinded by darkness, the Sun attempted to bring harm to our galaxy. Fear filled the atmosphere. Inhaling too much would cause chaos. Our Earth was able to shield its Stars from the Suns extreme solar flares. In the end, all that was left was broken glass and dried up tears.
After an asteroid destroyed everything, our galaxy was lost in orbit. Rainy days and long bus rides were in the future.
The Universe ensured our Earth didnt give up. Anything and everything had to be done to secure a future for its Stars. Eventually, a roof was placed above the galaxy. We were back in the orbit.
The Universe doesnt choose favorites. There are many Earths, many Suns, many Moons, and many Stars. Every galaxy has its black hole an emptiness in its center. They say love heals all, but no light ever leaves a black hole. Once its there, its there forever.
Since its early stages of life, the Star isolated from our Earth and younger sibling, and built independence to rule over love. It was always angry but mostly sad because it lacked love. With low defenses, rage pounced on the chance to secure a big portion of the Stars inner self. Relatives of our galaxy showed more concerns than our own Earth. Being a rebel was the only option.
Who Are We?
Someone that is afraid to let go
This is a question that even today is hard to answer! We are merely human beings trying to survive and succeed in a world surrounded by choices that we made as a child. Most of us probably wonder how life would be now if we hadnt made some of those choices in the past. The rest of us wonder if our choices were exactly what we were meant to choose, to get where we are today. Movies like Back to the Future teach us a lot about our mistakes. Alas, we were young back then and riding high on the fumes of youth. To reconcile with the choices we made back then, many people pen a letter to our younger self, which is a great coping mechanism.
Our inner conscience is like a separate person. As a child, we made choices based on fear and to some extent, we operate in the same manner. Life throws many challenges our way from the moment we are born and the day we start talking and walking, is when we choose to start creating our own path. Is that path good or bad? We dont know that! Heck, at this point, we are children and all we want to do is get into trouble and spread chaos.
Its funny how life takes an abrupt turn and we chalk it up to our faith. From the moment we turn 2, the age when we start talking, we start making our own choices, having our own thoughts. We choose the direction that our life goes in, based on choices. Cursing the fate that has been dealt to us by the Creator is not going to change anything. Our thoughts and opinions are what drive us towards our choices. People believe that life progresses based on whats written in their cards.
What does this mean? Are our lives determined? Then what about 2-year-olds, who simply want candy? Throwing a tantrum gets them what they want every time. So, these cards are not what determine us; it is our choices, even the ones that we make as toddlers, make us who we are.
Each choice leads us to new roads, which take us in new directions. When we were young, we focused on things that didnt have any big impact on our lives. Looking back, it makes us realize that only if we had done things differently, we wouldnt be sitting where we are now. This begs the question are we on the path to success or failure? Nothing is set in stone, and this is why at the center of our life force, choices play an important role.
Our Rebel Phase
The ability to make life-changing choices starts during the rebel phase. The rebel phase gave us the unwavering confidence that whatever we were doing was right. What were we 12? Wild was our middle name and there was no stopping us!
We need to look back and figure out where we went wrong. Who chooses what is right or wrong? Good or bad? They say that a persons character develops at an early age. The choices we make then shape us into the person we are today. If we were rebellious then, some of the remnants of our previous nature are still within us. When times get harder, we revert back to our old selves. Isnt that how every person operates? When a habit builds up, it becomes quite difficult to change it. It takes years and years of practice but in the face of a challenge, common sense flies right out the window. Can this be controlled? Not now, when we have become accustomed to how we operate.
It all began when we chose to burn our first batch of broccoli. Trying to forget our nonexistent troubles, we hit it to our hearts content. Our first high was like walking on the clouds and we developed a taste for it quite quickly. Did this affect the choices we made at important moments of our lives? Yes and no, but not really. We were on a swift part to destruction. Moreover, our creators did not influence our thought process, which made rebelling all the more fun.
Our creators play a huge role in our upbringing, but the rebel phase disregards even their authority. If they knew half the things we did and got away with, well, they wouldnt want to claim us anymore, for sure. This phase has a mind of its own and what rules us is the lure of being a rebel. How many movies have portrayed young children acting out, thinking that they are on top of the world and nothing can touch them? Oh, the naivety. If we had a dollar for every time, we did something stupid and dangerous, we would be rolling in some serious bread right now.
