I will never forget the first time I held a newborn infant in my hands. I stared at his tiny hands and body in amazement. As I held him close to my heart, I was astonished at the purity and wonderment of this miracle known as birth. Nothing on earth could bring more joy. And like most people, as I stared at him, I couldnt help but contemplate his future life on this earth. Here in my arms were promise and hopes and dreams for a new generation. This was a newly formed body, but an ageless soul, and one ready to begin the dance of life, yet again.
Every soul makes its own timeless map of experiences. Lifetimes of events are imprinted into the soul memory, and all weaknesses and strengths are drawn upon for growth and understanding. Awareness forms and evolves from this knowledge, to develop our selves and incorporate them into the simple yet complex meanings of life.
Each one of us has a soul destiny, but this journey of knowledge is not traversed alone. Instead, it is shared. For we are a part of many others and we choose to come back and learn and evolve with those whom we have loved before. Though the characters, roles, and situations change, these bonds of love and familiarity are an inherent part of us. Therefore, we are our families, friends, and foes. And by sharing, learning, loving, experiencing various aspects of personalities, in multitudes of situations, we become as one in our seeking of truth and understanding.
A child is one of lifes greatest teachers. Childrens points of view are honest and free. Their minds have not become imprisoned and conditioned by the fears and insecurities that grip adults. A child understands simplicity and views life as a playful adventure. There is no judgment or motive behind the words of a child. They know who they are and what they want and will tell you so without your even asking.
Children are also much more in tune with their intuition. They have yet to form an awareness of a religion or belief system, therefore, they rely upon their feelings or senses to give them answers. Part of this awareness is due to the fact that they have recently arrived here from the spirit world, and their mindset is still rich with the influence of that world. Therefore utilize and nurture their light, because it is our responsibility to keep it lit. A childs mind is the seat of the soul and should be left as pure and free as possible, so they can foster a true and meaningful spiritual self. For it has been noted, one must be like a child to enter the gates of heaven.
The belief in reincarnation is found in almost every religion and civilization known to man. It was certainly part of Roman times and referred to by several ancient Greek philosophers, most notably Plato. The Egyptians ancient religion shared a form of it as well. The belief in coming back and returning to this earth is just as strong today and is gaining ever more acceptance in mainstream thought. So then why is reincarnation still a topic bathed in mystery?
In our limited, physical, three-dimensional world, there are no manmade machines that can measure the experiences a soul has encountered throughout time. When speaking of a soul or a consciousness or another dimension, what scientific methods can be utilized? None. As the maxim goes, it would be like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
But on another level, consciousness is real and tangible, as experienced through meditation, near-death, and out-of-body experiences. Consistent with these are situations where children have memories and know consistent details beyond their frame of awareness. Where irrational phobias and health issues were relieved by regression therapy, it also clearly demonstrates irrefutably the existence of a soul consciousness.
The mind is limitless. We are not our brains, our bodies, our clothes, or our homes. We are not our bank accounts, our jobs, our countries, or even our names. We are much, much more. We are spiritual beings whose true native language is love.
The time has finally come for us to open ourselves up to this new soul awareness. That is why this book is so important, not just as an interesting story but also as a collection of lessons from which to learn and live by. When we begin to think of ourselves as eternal beings and are conscious of how we act out our lives on a daily basis, our lives take on a more meaningful role and we perceive the tapestry of our existence more closely. We begin to understand the meanings behind our interactions with our family, friends, and fellow workers. We start to see how our previous thoughts and actions helped to shape the life we are currently living, and we begin to live with a mindful awareness of every choice we make, knowing they will have repercussions far beyond tomorrow. We begin to live a life in which these very choices are not taken for granted.
This earth is the schoolroom for the soul. It is a place we come back to over and over again to further us on our road to self-awareness. We carry the hope that with all of the experiences we encounter and the variety of the scenarios we live out, we will have a greater understanding of ourselves. When we can begin to see ourselves honestly and start to assume personal responsibility, it is then and only then that we realize we are all connected as one being and behold the true meaning of God.

When a beloved grandparent or aunt or brother dies, when we lose a parent or cherished child to death, the loss feels so great, so sad, so final. We yearn to see them once again, to hear their voices, to feel their presence. If only we could be with them again!
Some take comfort in the belief that after we die we will be reunited with the souls of our deceased loved ones in spirit, in heaven. But what if you knew it was possible to be with them again in this lifetime without having to die first? What if I told you there is strong evidence that the souls of our loved ones who die can return from heaven to be with us againnot in a dream or vision, or through the aid of a medium or psychic, but in reality, through reincarnation as a baby born into the family?
It is possible. The true stories I share with you in this book are stunning testimony to the reality of reincarnation within the same family: grandfathers return as their own great-grandsons, uncles return as their own nieces, mothers switch places with their daughters. And perhaps the most amazing revelation is that children who die tragically young can return to the same mother within a few years.
All the stories in this book center around very young children, some as young as two years old, who begin talking of their past lives spontaneously, with no prompting or hypnosis. The childs family, in most cases, is a typical American family who did not believe in reincarnation before it happened to them. Yet the evidence they see coming from their own child convinces them that a deceased relative has been reborn into their family.
You will follow the process of discovery from the moment these families first suspect their child is a relative reborn. Typically, around the time the child begins to talk in full sentences, he or she will start to make shockingly accurate statements about the life of the deceased relativefacts a toddler has absolutely no way of knowing. Or the family recognizes specific behaviors in the child that mirror the relatives unique quirks and personality. In some cases they see that the childs body has birthmarks that exactly match wounds or scars the deceased relative had on his body at the time of deathmarks that cannot be attributed to heredity.
