ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

Scenic Driving Oregon is the work not of a single person but of many. My thanks to Globe Pequot for giving me the opportunity to update it and to Kevin Sirois for guiding it through the production process. Many organizations listed in the Appendix played important roles in helping me update this book by providing information, answering my e-mails, and, in some instances, reviewing chapters and referring questions to others who they felt had more direct knowledge of the routes, communities, and attractions that were being updated. I thank them for their time and for going beyond my expectations.

Tom Barr

Highest praise and acknowledgement goes to author Tom Barr for writing a thorough and inspiring narrative. I merely updated his fine work. I am grateful and thankful for my many friends and colleagues in Oregon tourism; my amazing family members who are always up for a road trip; and Oregon itself, for being lifelong home and inspiration.

Kim Cooper Findling
