T he best part of my journey has been the people Ive had the good fortune to meet and know. I love going to work every day and spending time with talented and enthusiastic entrepreneurs and teammates. As anyone whos written a book knows, it takes a lot of time, but with the right team, its a bit easier. I want to thank everyone who helped me get this book to the shelf. Id be remiss to think I can thank everyone who helped here, but since I get a page to try, Ill mention a few.

A huge thanks to everyone at HarperCollins, especially Hollis Heimbouch and Matthew Inman. Thanks to Caroline Sherman for putting the pieces together, again. Thank you also to Jay Mandel and the team at William Morris. And to Lisa Sanderson and Jamie Mandelbaum. Thanks to Mark Levine for your collaboration and assistance on the book.

I am so very grateful for the wonderful world of Live Out Loud, the members of which continue to support me and one another with dedication, commitment, energy, and innovation. Thank you to every member of our Live Out Loud community, including members of Lorals Big Table and the numerous Cash Machine teams. Thanks to the entire Live Out Loud staff, Premier Mentoring, and all the coaches and Field Partners, including Will Mattox, Sue Walker, Janet Fish, Fred Auzenne, Rebekah Hall, Wendy Byford, Gary Bauer, Jim Griffin and 54Freedom team, Kirby Cochran and the Castle Arch team, Robert Couch, Martha Hanlon, Steve Parker, Paul Miltonberger, David Babin-ski, James Sheppard, Mark Nichols, and Chris Williams. All of you contribute so much with your enthusiasm and expertise.

Thank you to my mom; my sister, Holly; and my brothers, Jeff, Doug, and Kent; and a big hug and thanks to my dad, whom I miss so much. Special thanks to my Aunt Bev, for pushing me to push myself.

Of course, the most lovely part of the journey is at home, and Im forever grateful for my husband, Carl, and our children, Logan and Tristin. Thank you for being there for me, and with me, always.

A s a leading-edge economist, I work with numbers. I can tell you of the complex cycles that our economy has faced over time and what is critical in each time period. Ive spent my career studying the numbers and sharing my findings. Theres a logic to our economy that includes inflation and deflation, bubbles and depressions, and periods of growth and times of recession.

But what do you do with this type of macro information? You can have all the facts and figures in the world, but if you dont have a tactical plan to prosper, you wont.

Facts and figures give you knowledge and a sense of the landscape ahead; Loral gives you a plan to engage that knowledge. She turns facts and figures from numbers on a page into information that you can put to use for your advantage. Her advice is clear, concise, and actionable, which is what is needed to put more money in your pocket, thrive in economic upturns, survive economic downturns, and create wealth in the long term.

If youre like most, recent economic events have shaken you up a bit. You realize that traditional means of making money may no longer apply. Weve seen the economy boom and crash, not once but many times. The dips and turns are to be expected. History repeats itself and the next decade will be more like the 1930s, when major companies and banks failed but entrepreneurialism flourishedand more at the everyday scale than massive new Microsoft and Google companies.

Traditional methods to achieve financial security, now and in the future, can no longer to be relied upon as they once were. Job security seems a thing of the past. Baby boomers believed that their homes and other investments would contribute most, if not all, of their retirement funds. Today they face the possibility that retirement is out of reach for a while.

What Loral recommends makes sense. You need to learn how to put more money in your pocket as quickly as possible. She recommends that you dont spend time learning a new trade but put the knowledge and skills that you have right now into an entrepreneurial endeavor. Start now, dont waitwhether you believe the economy is getting healthier or not. Find a marketable skill among those that you possess, run with it, and be more creative in how you apply and market that skill.

Along with having quantifiable strategies, Loral has a knack for helping people find the right Cash Machine to suit their particular skills. She has an eye for spotting trends, which helps immensely in positioning. She has the ability to take you out of your comfort zone because she will also help you see the possibilities ahead and the capability within you.

Put More Cash in Your Pocket is a guide to your future if you act on it. No longer do we have the luxury to sit back and wait for things to get better. What you need to do is get movingget doing. I see the future as one where you need to be able to count on yourself. And even though many have found themselves in too much debt as the economy has slowed, increasing your cash flow and income is far more important in a new era wherein cash, cash flow, and credit will be the key to both survival and taking advantage of the greatest sale in history on financial assets and new business trends.

Loral will help you awaken your resilience, uncover your strengths, summon up your courage, engage your imagination, and bring to fruition your entrepreneurial goals.

I advise you to take action starting now. Read this book from cover to cover. Youll know where to go from there.

I f you could find a way to put $500 to $1,000 in your pocket right now, this month, would you do it? How about $500 to $1,000 in your pocket every single month for an entire year? And then next year? And the year after that? Maybe even increasing that amount month after month?

Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes. Right? I mean, of course. Who wouldnt want that extra cash?

Im here to tell you that it is not only possible to do exactly that, but that it will definitely happen if you follow the steps in this book. This is not a boast or a brag. Ive helped thousands of people make extra cash fast. People from all different backgrounds, in a variety of situations, all over the world. People just like you.

And Ill do it by helping you to make your life bigger, not smaller. In fact, with the process Im going to share with you:

  • You do not have to scrimp and save.
  • You do not have to borrow from one part of your life to pay for another.
  • You do not have to worry over decisions you made in the past.
  • You get to see yourself create new cash.
  • You discover a new, and fun, way to spend time with your family and friends.
  • You get a new lease on life.

This isnt about putting money under your mattress, sewing your own clothes, or sacrificing that latte you love so much. Nope. This is about taking the skills and knowledge you already have, and turning those into cashtoday.
