Fernando Dasilva was born and raised in Brasilia, the capital city of Brazil, and now resides in Pennsylvania, where he designs one-of-a-kind jewelry with a unique, cosmopolitan flair. The passion and beauty of Brazilian culture merges with European influences, the excitement of New York City and Fernando's world travels to create his vibrant, signature style.
Fernando says, My jewelry is meant to make people feel glamorous and modern, even if they are just wearing jeans and a T-shirt.
Fernando's work has appeared in many beading magazines and in Women's Wear Daily, where he was noted as a designer to watch. He has appeared on the public television show Beads, Baubles & Jewels and has displayed jewelry in galleries and boutiques across the United States. He is the only male SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS brand ambassador and annually conducts workshops at the CREATE YOUR STYLE with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS show in Tucson. He has created collections for Touchstone Crystal and Made by Me Jewelry and has been commissioned to create pieces for Beadalon, Swarovski and John Bead Corporation.
