Why Steve is Awesome!

Ok, so he paid me to say that!

Not really, but seriously, Steve is my go-to guy when it comes to learning fiction storytelling. Ive always wanted to write fiction, but the thought of coming up with characters, a world they live in, taking them through trials and tribulations to arrive at some amazing endingwell, its more than a little intimidating.

I have a confession: I have a great writing partner. I like to call Lise Cartwright that because shes a kindred spirit when it comes to getting words down on the page.

Lise is a non-fiction writing machine. As of the publishing date of this book, shes on a book-writing and self-publishing roll of terror that keeps me running at top speed to keep up with her.

But if Lise is the benevolent queen of pumping out 15,000 to 20,000-word non-fiction books very quickly, I could easily believe that she and others would call me the angry king of writing 85,000-120,000-word fiction thrillers faster than youll need your next haircut.

Lise and I write. Thats our secret.

But its not a secret, really. Not one you couldnt use yourself anyway. However, we do have a method and a mission that drives us, and Ill tell you about that as we go.
