Baby Green with Mom and Dad in Palm Springs,
California, at the NFL League meetings in March of 1997.
We are so happy with our little girl, and we hope
to give her a brother or sister within two years, God willing.
Vanessa is the "star" of the Green family.

Who says I am not a fishing professional? I even have my own
trading card. The card is legitimate, but I will always be a
recreational angler; I love the fun and relaxation.
Above is the 1988 49ers staff that won the Super Bowl. In the far back row, four past
and present NFL head coaches are in the picture, Back row: me (third from left) George
Seifert (third from right), Mike Holmgren, (first on right), First row: Ray Rhodes (first on right).

Here I am with the 1992 NFL head coaches. There are only five of the 28 coaches
still with their original teams. Coaching professional football is a tough business,
but a great challenge.
Here I am at the 1994 American Bowl in Tokyo, Japan. Chiefs' head coach
Marty Schottenheimer and I are flanking Commissioner Paul Tagliabue.
Kansas City Chiefs founder and owner Lamar Hunt is to Marty's right, and
Vikings' President Roger Headrick, is next to me. The game was a great chance
to travel to the Far East and have a cultural exchange. We won two American
Bowl games (Berlin, 1993, and Tokyo, 1994). Next stop, a Super Bowl in the USA?

Meeting with Jim Mora, former head coach of the New Orleans
Saints. NFL coaches have a strong bond and mutual respect and
it's never based on your win-loss record.
In 1993, Richie Pettibone was the head coach of the Washington
Redskins. Richie waited years for his shot at the top and only got
one year before he was firedlike I said, it's a tough business.
Greeting former San Francisco 49ers coach George Seifert
after a game. George has one of the best defensive coaching
minds in all of football. He's too young to stay retired.
Hopefully he'll be back coaching in the NFL again.

Jimmy Johnson retired from coaching the Dallas Cowboys, but now
is back to lead the Miami Dolphins. Like George Seifert, Johnson has
two Super Bowl Championships on his resume and the rings to prove it.
I enjoy every minute of the time I spend with
children in the Twin Cities community. That's one
of the best aspects of being in a high-profile job.

Bill Cosby was kind enough to pose with Marie and Me when he came to the
Twin Cities for a PACER Foundation fundraiser. Bill is a great
humanitarian, and is always giving his all for mankind.
Here I am in Tokyo at the Dakota Air Base doing a
live jazz show that was heard thoughout Southeast Asia.
Jazz and music in general is a large part
of my life and one of my favorite leisure activities.

The CD cover for Sunset Celebration. Working with so
many talented, hungry musicians was a great experience.
Even though we didn't sell as many albums as we'd hoped,
the project was praised by music critics. The style is
contemporary rythmn jazz with smooth, soulful vocals.
Here I am in my Viking practice gear on the field.
Do you think I am catching the ball or tossing it to
someone? It's a nice shot, so I won't tell you.
