Don Philpott is a journalist, author and broadcaster who has spent the last thirty years exploring the world as a writer. Born in Hull, England, he worked for twenty years with the Press Association, the UK national news agency. He founded and co-edited Footloose, an outdoor activities magazine in the UK.
He now lives in Florida and is associate publisher of a newspaper and magazine house. He has written more than 50 books on travel, wine, food, diet and health issues and the media.
