S USANA, IS A YOUNG girl of only 18 years, she strove all her life to reach a high academic level and be the pride of her parents. She is the youngest daughter of 4 siblings; the two eldest are Albert and Luis the 32-year-old twins. Then came her sister Ins, 29, a doctor by profession, dedicated to her job and a great daughter.
No one expected that 11 years later, her parents would decide to venture again and become parents for the fourth time. And Susana, always grateful for feeling that they gave her the opportunity to come into the world, lived a constant effort not to disappoint them.
-Good morning Susana, I hope you slept very well, any news from College so far? asked Cristina, her mother, as she looked at her from the door of her room.
Susana looked at her cell phone, checking to see if there was any new message, but there was nothing. -No mom, no notification yet, she replied as she got out of bed. -I'm very hungry, maybe it's anxiety. I need to eat my breakfast. She quickly got out of her blankets, got ready, and sat down at the table with her parents.
-Good morning Susana, do we know anything so far?
-Good morning, Dad, no, not yet, but don't worry, it shouldn't take long for some information to arrive," said Susana to William, her Dad, as she started her breakfast.
A few minutes later, interrupting a conversation about the latest news from the city, Susana's cell phone rings, and she immediately checks it while her parents watch her.
-Yes, yes, I did it! she shouted full of emotion as she jumped around the table. Her parents ran to hug her, proudly called their other children and other relatives to share the good news.
Cristina, with a bittersweet sensation, thought of her daughter's tenacity and perseverance; how hard she has tried to achieve this goal, but at the same time remembered how far away she would be now; for the university was in another city, about eight hours away.
Her little girl, full of innocence who 18 years ago had come to that home to remind them of the tenderness of a small newborn. Yes, her little girl had already grown up, she was about to become a university student; she would move on her own and start an adult life, which perhaps her parents were not yet ready to face. But that no longer mattered, for the day had come and joyfulness seized everyone's hearts.
Susana already knew it, in her heart she felt it; she knew that that day would be fabulous and that she would feel happy.
It did not take her long to tell her friends, who were also deeply happy for her and immediately planned a celebration dinner.
It had been a long and beautiful day; Susana finally arrives at the restaurant where she will see her friends and when she enters, she cannot avoid looking at that boy across the room.
In an instant her eyes and his eyes met, his eyes accompanied by a dark hair and a very light skin. Their life path had crossed, and they knew it. For an instant Susana felt intimidated and at the same time felt a strange emotion running through her veins.
There is always some madness in love.
But there is also always some reason in madness.

Q UICKLY SHE WENT TO the table where her friends were waiting for her and amid timid gestures, a couple of times she turned in the direction of those brown eyes that were still watching her. He was at another table with a couple of boys and a girl; and no matter how much he struggled, he also could not help but observe Susana.
-What do you think about that, Susana? asked Melissa, her best friend, who had already noticed at some point how distracted she was and the constant exchange of glances.
-I'm sorry, I didn't listen, what were you talking about? replied Susana to her Melissa.
-Clearly your problem isn't that you haven't listened, since you arrived you've been quite entertained looking at the boy at that table and I can see that he enjoys it too. Why don't you come over and ask him what his name is?
Susana, who has always been a determined girl, risky but shy when it comes to meeting guys, can't help but be amazed;
-Have you gone mad? No, I can't, I'm ashamed just to think about it.
-Come on, would you be doing something wrong?
Such questions for a moment lead Susanna to reflection.
What am I afraid of?
What's the worst that could happen?
Meanwhile, Melissa and the other friends were trying to persuade Susana to approach the boy with the captivating look.
-No, I'm sorry, you guys can say whatever you want, but I won't do it, let's continue with our evening which is only for girls, replied Susana to the pleas of her friends.
-All right, let's get on with our business, replied Melissa.
That's how the afternoon went, a relaxed dinner between girls, chatting from highly relevant topics to women trivialities. One of so many afternoons among friends that Susana will miss so much in just three months, when she must leave her city to pursue her dream of becoming a successful lawyer.
While paying the bill, Susana noticed that the attractive young man was leaving with his friends. Her young heart for a sudden moment was disappointed because, somehow, she nurtured in her mind the crazy idea that perhaps that unknown boy with beautiful brown eyes would try to get close to her and want to meet her. But a question from one of her friends brought her back to reality, and she quickly discarded the illusion and finished enjoying her evening.
